Great hotel with with courteous staff
Pros:

Rooms were really good, staff were very courteous and provided all the assistance. The hotel had a tie-up with the ferry service, so we were picked up for the Mackinac Island ferry right at the doorstep of the hotel. It was so convenient

Not excellent/perfect, but fine.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine. Very little option for allergy friendly foods. Breakfast staff was excellent!

Cons:

Parking close to room entrance. Rooms close together when traveling together. Easier control of room temperature.

This hotel met my expectations in every way!
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and attractive. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, as it is directly across the street from the Shepler’s ferry shuttle parking lot. We were able to just walk across the street and hop on the shuttle.

I tried to cancel my reservations for two days and talked to a representative for 45 minutes who couldn’t cancel it. Therefore, I will never use booking.com again and I will challenge the charge very vigorously.
