Upgrade onnistui kohtuu hintaan ja complimentary shampanja sekä iltapala oli kiva lisä.
Sauna on iso.

Cons:

Meteli Kittilä - Muonio tieltä huoneeseen. Siivouksen taso on todella heikko. WC oli todella epäsiisti , roiskeita seinillä ja tahmea lattia, sohvan patjojen alle ei edes viitsinyt katsoa jne.. Sänky kuopalla ja pieni TV. Tunkkainen pistävä haju huoneessa.
Lasketteluvälineiden säilytykseen on yksi huone missä kaikkien tavarat muiden vietävissä eli otettava erikseen maksullinen lokero suksivuokraamosta jos haluaa että kamat tallessa , ”5 tähden” tasoista ei oikein ole roudata niitä muutenkaan hotellille itse edestakaisin.
Aamupala oli ihan ok. Ensimmäisen huoneen jääkaappi oli rikki ja ei mitään muita juomia vesipullojen lisäksi ei 5 star tasoa. Rimaa voisi nostaa hiukan ylläpidossa ja palvelussa. Taso on 4 tähteä.

Totally worth it
Pros:

Such an amazing stay! We even got upgraded to a suite with sauna which was totally worthy it after being outside snowmobiling or northern lights chasing. Champagne gift in the room and everything from the mini bar was free. Personal was really friendly and also discreet. The breakfast was very good and it was really practical to have restaurants inside the facility without having to leave your hotel. Location is excellent, central, close to everything but also quiet. There were so many activities to do we didn't get to try the spa (included in the price). We saw the northern lights from our balcony on the very first night!

Locatie is top, personeel en Finnen in het algemeen super vriendelijk. We hadden ontbijt in het kayala restaurant dit was fantastisch. Goed bed, fijne douche . Piste en centrum binnen 5 minuten lopen Aanrader

Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Lage des Design Hotel Levi. Das Hotel befindet sich zentral in Levi, viele Aktivitäten, Restaurants und Geschäfte sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Cons:

Das Design Hotel Levi wirbt mit 5 Sternen – tatsächlich fühlt sich der Aufenthalt jedoch eher wie ein durchschnittliches 3-Sterne-Hotel an, nur zu einem deutlich höheren Preis. Die Diskrepanz zwischen Anspruch und Realität ist hier offensichtlich und enttäuschend.

Die Zimmer sind zwar modern gestaltet, aber es fehlen ausreichend Schränke oder Stauraum für Kleidung, was bei einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt äußerst unpraktisch ist. Das Badezimmer wirkt wie eine nachträglich eingebaute Wandbox aus Glas – optisch interessant, aber man hat hier keine Privatsphäre. Besonders inakzeptabel war der Schimmel im Bad. In dieser Preisklasse ist das kein Detail, sondern ein gravierendes Hygieneproblem.

Auch die allgemeine Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das Zimmer wurde nicht immer gründlich gereinigt, und manchmal wurde es vom Personal komplett vergessen – keine Müllentsorgung, kein Handtuchwechsel. In einem Haus mit 5-Sterne-Anspruch erwartet man Zuverlässigkeit, Struktur und Professionalität – nicht Nachlässigkeit.

Das Frühstück setzte die Enttäuschung fort. Die Auswahl wirkte günstig zusammengestellt, qualitativ schwach und kaum abwechslungsreich. Täglich nahezu identische Speisen ohne erkennbare Frische oder Kreativität. Teilweise entstand sogar der Eindruck, dass Speisen vom Vortag wiederverwendet wurden. Zusätzlich herrschte im Frühstücksrestaurant regelmäßig Chaos: zu viele Gäste auf engem Raum, mangelhafte Organisation und lange Warteschlangen.

Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck, dass hier mehr Wert auf Design und Außendarstellung gelegt wird als auf Qualität, Hygiene und Service. Für ein Hotel, das sich selbst mit 5 Sternen positioniert, ist das schlicht nicht angemessen und dem Preis keinesfalls gerecht.

Pros:

It was an amazing room. The bed was super comfortable and loved that I had pillows to choose from. The room was super clean and cosy. The coat hanger as you walk in was perfectly placed. I loved the little chocolates received on arrival. I ordered the premium breakfast unknowingly and it was incredible.
