The only part of this stay that was likeable was the distance to the airport.
They put us in a room on the 2nd floor right against the street. The room at first appearance seemed clean but upon closer inspection, not so much. There were cob webs on all the light fixtures in the ceiling as well as on the little plant in the bathroom. The bathroom window was stuck open and could neither be opened more or pulled closed. The air conditioner took most of the day with us out of the room in order to cool the room down but also was put into a cement wall but wasn't sealed in properly and because of that all the noise from the street vendors and traffic outside can be heard inside like you're standing beside them on the road. There is also no mini fridge or any other amenity in the room at all. Thankfully, most of the noise stopped by 10:30pm but still, not so great when you have to be awake at 2am to catch a taxi to the airport.
The security for the room is very poor with the lock being only a simple door handle lock that's no more secure than the lock on your typical bathroom door in your home.
Overall, there a many hotels near the airport that may cost a little more but have hands down better accommodations than this place will ever have!
My wife and I come to the Philippines a lot. We will never stay in this establishment again! And we both would recommend looking for a different hotel.
If the draw to this hotel is because it is close to SM Lanang mall, I would suggest the Park Inn that's right across the street from the mall.

The room assigned to me is uncomfortable. There was an incident that the water heater in the toilet blown up and the main socket got burned
NOTHING! The toilet smelled like a public rest room! NO ELEVATOR, HAZARDOUS POWER PLUGS!
EVERYTHING from how the reception told us if we wont pay now we will lose the booking from not having elevators, drunk rowdy guests, no security, no elevator, smelly toilet, hazardous powerplugs, and considering the are a part of red doorz??
