Wir habe unseren Aufenthalt im Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Surry Hills insgesamt sehr genossen und kann das Hotel besonders für längere Aufenthalte oder Städtereisen empfehlen.
Die Lage in Surry Hills ist ein großer Pluspunkt: Das Viertel ist lebendig, bietet viele Cafés, Restaurants und kleine Boutiquen.
Gleichzeitig ist man schnell in der Innenstadt, Bushaltestelle ist nur 200m entfernt.

Das Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer ist angenehm groß und funktional eingerichtet. Besonders praktisch sind die voll ausgestattete Küche sowie Waschmaschine und Trockner – ideal, wenn man mehrere Tage bleibt. Die Zimmer waren sauber.
Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Check-in verlief problemlos und insgesamt herrschte eine angenehme, unkomplizierte Atmosphäre.

Zusätzliche Einrichtungen wie Pool und Fitnessbereich sind vorhanden und runden den Aufenthalt ab, auch wenn sie eher klein gehalten sind.

Pros:

The location is 💯 perfect, right in the heart of Surry Hills. The apartments are spacious, and having a washer and dryer is very convenient. The reception staff was friendly and amicable, which made check-in pleasant.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was terrible. I had to use antibacterial wipes on all the cupboards and the closet rod before unpacking because they were filthy. The room was never cleaned properly—only the rubbish was removed daily, even though a full service clean was promised every three days.

There was also a noticeable stinginess with towels and toilet paper. I had to call reception every single day to request them, and while they were delivered promptly, it became a daily hassle.

The same applied to other amenities in the apartment, which were not replenished unless specifically requested.


On our last night, the AC in the living room started leaking everywhere, even splashing my guest who was sleeping on a cot. It leaked onto the dining table where I had valuables. The hotel promised to contact me after I left to make up for the incident, but I never heard from them again.

It makes me sad because this property has so much potential thanks to its location and the size of the apartments. However, the lack of cleanliness is a huge problem. I’ve stayed here many times, and it has never been spotless (as a hotel of this category should be). But this last stay was beyond disappointing.

Pros:

Great location. 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for what we needed.

Cons:

Neither of the shower heads in either bathroom worked properly. Both were leaking and damaged, which affected pressures and had to hold the shower head with one hand to get it to work properly.

Good quality but needs better cleaning
Pros:

Good bed, great neighbourhood, large rooms and helpful staff

Cons:

It was dusty and needed a really good clean. Found a ‘beetle’ in the bedroom.
