Location
My husband, 3 kids, and I stayed at Baymont 2/14/26-2/15/26 as my son had Regionals for wrestling. Needless to say our stay was anything but restfull. We were placed in Room 309 in a "fully booked" hotel (that was what I was told). After a exhausting road trip with 3 kids my husband and I finally had all 3 kids in bed sleeping. He went to bed and I decided to take a late night shower. As soon as I opened the shower curtain after my shower I saw something move on the tile floor. At first I thought it was a fuzz but then it moved again. I picked it up with a piece of toilet paper to get a better look and woke my husband up to have him check it also. In all my 41 years I have never encountered this it was a BED BUG 🤢 My husband and I went down to the front desk together My heart was racing as I was thinking "what are we going to do ? Where are we going to stay?" On top of the fact we were both out of the room what if 1 of the kids woke up and they couldn't find us while we were down dealing with this situation at the front desk? When we got to the front desk there was a gentleman there trying to get a room in this "fully booked hotel" he was told that she wouldn't have an answer for him until 1:30am when if someone is a no show they can release their room. Well then it was our turn and I brought the wrapped up BED BUG with me as proof. She was taken back but then told me that since I booked through a 3rd party they couldn't change it in their system. She then proceded to offer us a different room in what we were told was a "fully booked hotel" She offered us Rm 307 which we turned down right away as it was literally next door to Rm 309 where we currently were. Makes me wonder if that room was empty for the same reason. She then told us Rm 203 was empty and we agreed as it was a different floor. She made note for her manager as she couldn't change it in the system and gave us the key cards.
We checked in at 530 ish...the associate at the desk was FANTASTIC! Dressed very professional...beautiful personality that made me smile. The room was very clean and more than i enticipated.
We went down for breakfast early as pointed out at 6:21am that breakfast isnt open till 6:30...we knew that...we saw there was complimentary coffee and was going to enjoy a cup prior to breakfast...the associate was just a bit too snarky for me at 6:21 am. Maybe she was sleepy
We live locally, and reserved the family suite for a place to eat/sleep/shower while completing a remodeling project at home. No silverware, cookware was filthy with cooked on grease, unsafe/ badly scratched Teflon pans, and shower door would not stay closed. We live locally, so I was able to run home for suitable cookware, needed extra towels to sop up bathroom floor after showers. We were very busy, running back and forth. So, I did not report the problems until check out.
On the plus side the complimentary breakfast was very good, eggs, potatoes, etc. And the hot tub was great after working hard all day at home.
Clean , pool , good choices for breakfast
The snow 🤣
Awesome bed
Clean room
Awesome front desk
Love the location
Pool was clean
The internet was running a little slow ......
Every good thing I could possibly say is taken away with the fact that our room was infested with bed bugs.
Bed bug infestation. Stayed for a bike race, went home and dealt with Dr's, crazy itchy bites for the whole family! Yuck. Yuck. Yuck.
The location is great
We stayed for 3 nights, had interactions with 3 different people working at the desk about an issue and the last 2 had no knowledge of what we had tried to resolve with the 1st. No communication among the front desk workers was disappointing.
I did not have a chance to eat, I have severe anxiety eating in front of People. The area was so crowded I didn’t feel comfortable to eat
I felt the room wasn’t worth the money I paid, the bed was not made and we only got 2 towels to use. Honestly looked like they forgot to clean the room
We booked this room for Black Friday shopping and the location was perfect!
There appeared to be a family living/working there (which is fine) but they had their sick, coughing baby behind the front desk. I wasn’t there to catch germs.
It was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. Would definitely recommend it to someone else.
The only thing we didn't like was the hot tub temperature was too hot. Otherwise it was clean.
The rooms were clean.
The breakfast was atrocious. Oranges were the only fresh fruit and they were hard as rocks. There was a very limited stock and limited options. We stayed here as a group for the breakfast option for our athletes and it was just not up to par. Very disappointing.
Close to everything we needed!
The breakfast was much better when we were there this summer!
Se ve limpio
No el desayuno sólo café y waffles
Bed was very comfortable and area was quiet
Staff was friendly and room was clean!
The breakfast was not good! The hot dishes were nasty looking and tasting!
The hot tub should have been about 15-20 degrees cooler and a better way to get in. That ladder sucked!!
