We kozen voor dit hotel omdat het gevestigd is in een prachtig stadspaleis, een uitstekende locatie heeft en bijzonder positieve beoordelingen kreeg. Toch wist het hotel onze verwachtingen nog te overtreffen. Vanaf het eerste moment werden we hartelijk ontvangen door een uiterst vriendelijk en professioneel team, waardoor we ons meteen welkom voelden. We hadden bovendien het geluk te verblijven in een prachtige suite met een bubbelbad op het terras, een unieke troef die perfect aansluit bij de exclusieve uitstraling van het hotel. Daarnaast beschikt het hotel over een sfeervolle koffielounge waar je in een bijzonder en stijlvol interieur volledig tot rust kunt komen. Als kers op de taart genoten we van een fenomenaal ontbijt in hetzelfde restaurant dat ’s avonds dienstdoet als het gerenommeerde restaurant Blind. Ook daar hebben we een heerlijke avond beleefd en genoten van een culinair festijn van hoog niveau. Alles samen maakte dit verblijf tot een onvergetelijke ervaring die we zonder enige twijfel kunnen aanbevelen.

Pros:

Heel vriendelijk personeel en een mooie nieuwe locatie tegenover het oude hotel

Cons:

Op zondag was was er een fiets Tour waardoor de taxi niet bij het hotel kan komen. Personeel bracht bagage naar een plek waar de taxi’s konden arriveren.

Torrel Palace is an absolute gem. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The staff, without exception, was exemplary. The service was outstanding. The beds were made multiple times a day and kept spotless. When we returned home after a long day, chocolate pieces had been placed on our pillows. The breakfast is top-tier—eating breakfast at a Michelin-rated venue certainly doesn't hurt. Another great touch that adds so much value is that as a guest at Torrel Palace, you have access to its sister hotel, Torrel Avantgarde, which features great swimming pools, a sauna, and spa treatments.

Truly exceptional stay from start to finish

I honestly can't remember the last time I experienced service this good. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. Every interaction felt genuinely warm and attentive, never scripted or routine. Little thoughtful touches throughout our stay made us feel truly taken care of, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble to ask.

The food was exceptional as well. Every meal was a highlight of the day, beautifully prepared and full of flavor.

This is easily one of the best hotel experiences we've had. If you're considering booking here, don't hesitate, you're in for a treat!

New block is clean, comfortable and modern, great location.
Pros:

Hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, very swift in dealing with issues that arise. The hotel is stepped with character, breakfast was good and hotel room that I was moved to in the new block was modern, clean, air con was perfect and comfortable. Location is ideal, right near the Dom Luis Bridge.

Cons:

The original room I was allocated was in the older block, upgraded to an executive room which was excellent, however the carpet around the bed was heavily stained and the air conditioning unit was dripping throughout the day and night and throughout the night a bubbling sound from the air conditioning unit which was frustrating. However, staff were amazing and moved me to another room, unfortunately in the older building this is something that needs updating, there is no issue at all in the new block, this was beautiful, clean and modern.
