Professional property host/manager
I had clean and comfortable stay , staff was attentive and responsive , requests were handled promptly .Location was convenient , central residential area with most necessities on walking distance. 24/7 market , coffee shops and cafes around the corner.
I had such a great stay at this hotel and I’m really happy I chose it! The location is perfect — everything is within walking distance, especially the Old City. You can easily reach most tourist spots in about 15–20 minutes, which made exploring so easy.
The hotel itself felt very safe, clean, and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, the girls at the reception were super friendly and helpful. I especially want to thank Elena — she answered all my questions about sightseeing with a big smile and lots of patience every day. Thanks to her tips, I was able to plan my trip so much better and visit some amazing places. I really appreciated her kindness!
My room was very clean and cozy. Housekeeping did a great job refreshing everything daily — fresh water, coffee, towels, you name it. I felt very comfortable, almost like I was at home.
I stayed in a room facing the main street, which I personally liked because I enjoyed the view. Even though it was a busy road, I didn’t find the noise disturbing at all. If I had to mention anything, it would be that the room didn’t get much sunlight since it faced north, so it was a bit darker. But honestly, it wasn’t a big deal for me.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the whole team for making my trip even more special!
This is not a normal hotel! This is the best ever in their level. You feel that you are in your own home! If you wanna feel safe and relax choose it without thinking! Thanks to Mis. Elena , she makes my stay very safe and memorable. A very clean hotel, safe and amazing ambiance, what you need they try to make! What you ask they help you. Location was amazing
The hotel was so clean and comfortable. You can reach Rustaveli Avenue in 3-4 minutes. Breakfast was super fresh and has variety.
The only issue was a slight bad smell in the bathroom, but we didn’t mind because everyone at the hotel was so kind and helpful in every way.
Sofia, a very sweet receptionist, helped us a lot with everything. She was so friendly and sincere! She planned every detail so we could reach the tourist attractions and even made reservations for us when we faced language barriers, calling the places herself. When we wanted to leave our luggage after checkout to explore the city a bit more, she also kindly assisted us. We are so grateful to her.
There was another female receptionist on our first day who was also very helpful. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable. I wish for good people to always be surrounded by good things!
It has been a pleasure staying at this hotel, the entire team has been wonderful to us. Breakfast was a success when booking it, there was a great variety of food and different choices for all tastes. Having rented a car and having the possibility of parking in the city has made the stay and visits much easier. The cleanliness of the room and the service were also very good, having water when you returned was nice to spend the night. very happy to have chosen this hotel.
NOT AGAIN.
Touted as three star I would not like to give it even one Star.
Location wise it is OK. But traffic does not permit cars to cross and one has to drive a long way to reverse direction. A very small 24 rooms hotel with pea-sized reception area where not more than four people can sit.
Rooms are very small, and so-called balconies are almost non-existent. It's tough to move about in the room, and no wonder it has only one chair to offer. Even glasses are not provided. Just two cups and one day's tea and sugar. No milk. Having said that, I appreciate the reception staff, who are cooperative and did provide milk when asked for it
The bathroom is tiny, and there is hardly any place to keep your toiletries
The safe provided in the room, did not open and despite some help , it did not work . The staff showed helplessness. I feel that the management does not care about getting it operational again. TV shows had only one language, Georgian.
The dining area where breakfast is served is very small and congested. The menu is very restricted and almost the same every day. Preparation is mediocre.
On the second day of our stay , the lift stalled. We had to go by steps to the fourth floor where our room was.... terrible for oldies like us. It was repaired by the evening, thankfully.
The worst was to come... next day, the lift was out of order again. We trudged by the staircase, only to find that door lock was dysfunctional. I went down. The receptionist gave me another card key but fearing the worst, I requested us to accompany us. The lock could not be opened. We were shifted to another room to rest while they tried to open the room. It was opened after two hours but now the door could not be locked. So we packed and shifted to the room where we were resting.
This ordeal, in our 30 years of traveling is unique. No one from the management bothered to apologize what to talk of refunding charges at least for one day.
I sincerely request fellow travelers to avoid this hotel and never take higher floors if there is only one lift.
Veldig fint hotell med hyggelig personale, rene rom og god frokost. Moderne air condition som gjør søvnen behagelig. Perfekt lokasjon der du er nærme t-banen og mange fine spisesteder.
The hotel staff was excellent: helpful and friendly. The hotel is a new building and the rooms are comfortable. The walls seem a bit thin: you can hear TV in the corridors. However, at least room .01 on each floor, which is sandwiched between the elevator shaft and the stairwell, and thus has no direct neighbors, is perfectly silent.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a new building and the rooms are comfortable. I had an excellent stay at a competitive price.
Excellent boutique hotel on the main drag in central Tbilisi.
Rooms are efficiently laid out. I had a really nice little balcony. (fourth floor)
Very bright, facing the street. Quite good value!
Good bathroom. Comfortable bed. Solid soundproofing from the very busy street outside.
Nice little coffee shop on the ground floor. (I didn't try the breakfast.) Great service. Elevator is quite slow, but no big deal.
A lovely small hotel in a very central location, across the street from Stamba.
We stayed in a room with a balcony, think it was the largest balcony on the floor. A lovely spot to chill after sightseeing or to have a morning coffee. Nice touch, wifi also works on the balcony and is fast enough to watch hi-res videos.
The room itself is modest in size but it has all the necessities, it has a personality and housekeeping is impeccable. The bed is very comfortable, AC is quiet. The balcony faces Kostava street which can get a bit noisy. If you have a sensitive sleep you might need to shut the balcony door or use earplugs.
The bathroom is quite stylish, rather spacious, has a hair dryer, a great towel dryer and a comfortable walk-in shower. Vanity set is good quality as well. We had a minor issue with the shower drain, it was clogged when we just checked in but it was fixed momentarily after talking to the reception.
Breakfast area is located on the ground floor, can't say that it was particularly remarkable but you won't go hungry.
I'd definitely recommend Zemeli and would stay there again, it is great value for money, is in great location and is stylish and clean.
*I'd love if the hotel improved the greenery on the balcony, at the moment we stayed there there were some weeds in containers which provided no privacy from the room/balcony next door. Maybe consider using some evergreen bushes and/or prairie grasses that are low-maintenance and grow quite tall? I'd also love if there was a coffee machine available to guests in breakfast area and if breakfast hours started earlier. And on a personal note, I'd get rid of plastic flowers in the breakfast area and outdoor sitting, they are dust collectors and don't add much to the ambiance.
Excellent boutique hotel on the main drag in central Tbilisi. Rooms are efficiently laid out. Really nice little balcony. I think I maybe had the main room that shows up in the TripAdvisor listing? (4th floor) It looked just like that one - very bright, facing the street. Quite good value!
Good bathroom. Comfortable bed. Solid soundproofing from the very busy street outside.
Nice little coffee shop on the ground floor. (I didn't try the breakfast.) Great service. Elevator is quite slow, but no big deal.
Location is good, many food options nearby. Easy walk to station and shops. Close to attractions. Breakfast was repetitive. Housekeeping was poor. Shower door did not close properly and shower drain was slow so we were standing in centimetres of water when showering. Very noisy outside.
This hotel should never be listed on Expedia. I was met with a non-working TV, a poorly working shower, and a downright hostile female night manager who glared at people. TV was promised to be fixed but never was. Internet was out Sunday-Monday. De-list them. They list a "restaurant" on the premises, but there is none. No minibar as they list. Incompetent staff except for the day clerk.
One clerk accused me of smoking in the room. I do not smoke. There are balconies where old men do It wafts up to the rooms. The accusation is baseless.
The staff also rifled through my things even after I put up a do not disturb sign and informed them it needed no cleaning. Then they threw the sign on the floor.
De-list them, I am filing a fraud report anyway.
I've been in Georgia since 1992 on and off for work. This place needs to be reported to police for fraud.
Ótima localização, quarto agradeço, bom café da manhã e checkin super rápido e eficiente.
Stayed here for 4 days and glad to share that this hotel is amazing. The location is perfect, staff are cool, and the breakfast is amazing. For our whole stay, they always clean our room even if we do not request to have it cleaned. The hotel is also near Rustaveli metro station.
Clean and worthy of try
Perfect location, in the city center. Very polite stuff members and a great atmosphere. Comfortable and clean room with a huge bad, also good equipment in there. Also had a good breakfast with some tasty meals. There was no noise and had a good sleep. Totally enjoyed time i have spent in there.
The Place was great , clean rooms , friendly Stuff , cozy and comfortable beds , good working air conditioning , very clean Bathroom . In total it was a great stay . Would recommend the Hotel to everybody . I will come back kn July 2023 and i will definitely take Hotel Zemeli again for my stay ! Thanks a lot
Amazing hotel located walking distance to town and only 2 min away from rustavali metro station, great location, superb bedrooms and shower, but what make the difference is the professional staff, special mention to Ucha and Temo at the reception and Nastya at the breakfast room.
