Negative Experience at a Hotel in Zurich
We stayed at this hotel and were крайне disappointed with the level of service.
First of all, it feels like the hotel is cutting costs on everything. The breakfasts are very basic, repetitive, and do not meet expectations for a hotel in Zurich. The Wi-Fi is poor and unstable, which is also inconvenient.
Another issue concerns the staff. The reception staff speak German and English; however, the housekeeping staff do not speak either language, which makes communication very difficult.
There was also a strange and potentially unsafe situation in the room: when we tried to boil water in the kettle, it started to produce foam. This raises serious concerns about cleanliness and the safety of the equipment.
The most unpleasant part was the behavior of the administration. In the evening, we were unable to enter the hotel because the smartphone-based automatic door access system provided by the hotel did not work. We had to ask a staff member to open the door manually. At that moment, a friend who was simply accompanying us (and had a dog) was standing with us and did not intend to enter the hotel.
Despite our explanation that we were guests and only needed to be let in, the staff member refused to open the door. The response was rude and dismissive.
The next morning, the situation repeated itself: we were again denied entry, even though we are paying guests and had already provided our room number. This reflects a complete disregard for guests and their rights.
Such treatment of guests is unacceptable. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic service, safety, and respectful treatment
