Ascend collection is supposed to be boutique or unique properties of Comfort Choice, but this place looked more like Motel 6. They just devalue their own brand

bare necessities motel room in a great location with friendly staff.
Pros:

the location was great and the staff accommodated my request for a room at the back, as well as extra blankets. they were not obtrusive.

Cons:

really needs the second curtain for the blackout curtains to work; didn’t feel very private bc there were gaps between curtain and window that anyone could have seen in through.

Pros:

The staff were friendly, the room was clean.
And odor free. Lots of available parking, and in a safe, convenient area. And the beds were SO comfortable! Most comfortable beds I've ever had at a hotel. The AC kept us cool and helped block out the outside traffic noise

Cons:

Yes, there was noise outside from the busy street, and loud neighbors up stairs, but by turning on the room fan we were able to sleep just fine. Wish there was some sort of breakfast... But still very happy with our stay.
