La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Sheboygan

Stay at La Quinta was because our original option fell through. I looked at several places in the Sheboygsn area and decided on this place. It was very good. The front desk was wonderful, quiet, and I would go back again - definitely!

We picked it because of the price, but regret that now. The room was supposed to have two queen beds, but the beds were significantly smaller.

When walking into the room, it had an odor of smoke and must. The bathroom smelled even worse. The walls were dirty in numerous spots in ways that could be easily wiped off, showing they do not clean well.

Finally, the breakfast was very lined and the hot food not appetizing.

Unless you must choose this place due to price, I would avoid.

Stayed for a wedding, was able to check in earlier. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only thing was that some pillows seemed as they haven’t been changed as there was some black marks on the pillow cases.

Everything was great

Nice staff, nice decorations. The bathroom fan triggered by the light was super loud but it worked.

Excellent beds and tv.

Exterior of the property is very impressive. Looks quite modern and inviting.

As soon as you step inside, it is obvious that this place needs a facelift.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, towels just fine. Ironing board broken.
Door jam on room door was loose.

Patio Door lead to a drop off .. no patio slab or base… just grass and a drop off within 5 feet of the door.
Staff was very friendly but not professional in appearance or mannerism.
Maintenance guy was great!!!

When I pulled down the sheets, I saw black spots on the sheets, like mascara . The sheets were all wrinkled like they were used and they just covered them up.

Toilet is too low.

Only complaint is my room was very close to the lobby. Got woke up to staff making breakfast etc.

Centrally located, comfortable bed, and clean room. Perfect for a 1-2 night stay. Property overall could use some updating. Breakfast was just OK.

The room was clean but the hallways had like an "old" smell to it... which is fine, we only needed to stay for one night. The front desk lady at check-in was very nice. However, the following day went down to breakfast and my child wanted cereal. There wasn't any milk left so I went to the front desk (different lady) to ask if someone could refill the milk. She told me someone was in there. I literally came from the breakfast area so I knew there wasn't anyone working in there, which I told her there wasn't anyone there. She proceeded to tell me there is someone in there and pointed to the breakfast area. Ok, whatever. I walk back to the area and still don't see anyone. There's a "staff only" door so I knocked but nobody opened. I went back to the front and let her know again that nobody is in there to refill. She told me again that someone is in there and if not then there's the "Staff only" door and knock on it. I told her I did that already and nobody came to the door. This entire time she's sitting at the front and have just been giving an attitude from our initial conversation. She finally got up and found the lady. The lady working the breakfast area was nice so I give it that but the 2nd front desk lady is a no-no. I would suggest getting up from the front to check the area even if someone might be in there refilling- that's just common courtesy. Also, there was nobody else in the front except me so she wasn't busy with helping other customers with check-in/checkout.

We liked the restaurant next door, Luigi's Italian, was very good.

There wasn't any type of clock in our room.

Despicable service. Never ever experienced something like it. Smelly. Loud construction. Dirty pillow cases. Dark smelly rooms. Customer service was absolutely terrible. Didn’t even stay the night. Left after 20 mins and the hotel won’t give the money back.

Room was clean, check in was easy. Staff was nice. I’d gladly stay again.

Overall stay was good

Terrible stay at La Quinta. Hardly slept because of noisy guests and paper thin walls. When i eventually gave up trying to sleep and went to the gym at 4am, imagine my surprise to discover the noise was coming from a member of staff. I am waiting to hear if they will give us a refund.

Had a hole in the shower that was not fixed well and toilet is very old, stained
