Family enjoyed the pool very much!
Location (we stayed about 1.5 years ago here and had a positive experience)
Unfortunately it had a large drop off.
Musty smell, rug rippled tripping hazard, sink full of hair and clogged. Iron stained my shirt, microwave and lamp not working. Sheets worn out pilly and appeared dirty, making us wonder if they had be changed. Bed was not encased.

Room had items from previous guest in it.
The location is good. We have stayed there 3-4 times a year for the past 5 years to see our family.
The breakfast was standard. Our carpets were wet to the point we had to put down towels....the floor remained wet/damp through out the entire stay. The smell in the room was like a wet dog. When letting the front desk know all they did was give us a can of air freshener. We ended up having to go out and buy our own air freshener to help with the strong wet dog smell.
Avoid. We’ve stayed at dozens of La Quintas. This is the only one we will avoid at all costs. Room was dirty (see photos), dangerous (see exposed wires), and when we wanted to check out a day early the next morning, staff pushed us to Booking.com to “help” us check out a day early — and then denied our checkout and charged us for two nights anyway. Easily the worst hotel experience we’ve had.

The tub would fill up using the shower you get 4 channels Turning on the light above the sink it would flicker for awhile then turn on the pool had no towels in it
Close to home it was a good spot for me and my dog
Air conditioner was broken, and I had to use the towels to soak up the water. I would recommend them fixing this as it is going to ruin the carpeting and their property.

Charla at the front desk was AMAZING and handled things as best she could.
I didn’t like that there were no towels available when we needed extra. Could hear outside traffic noise in the room. Air conditioner was very loud. And the sink didn’t drain well.

They don't say it online but required a $100 deposit for any damages, (we left the room perfect on our way out, even set the bed and only got $50 of it back, we left the room the same if not better than it was when we arrived.) They charge $45.50 a night for pets even though online it had stated $25 a night, the room smelled stale and was a tad outdated, visible stains on the carpet floor, they just left us with a little less than half a roll of toilet paper and we had to go down and ask for more, we were on the 2nd floor with a pet (not as big of a deal, but would have loved a first level room), and then I felt like there was not much of a dog potty area outside, the pool/hot tub looked grimy on the walls, and lastly the breakfast items were definitely not restocked enough (they were out of a lot of items and never brought more out.).
