My experience here was extremely horrible. I came here with my friends and we’ve had to change the keycard about 7 times. The lights are too dim for my liking and there is no over head likes. The elevator button is coming off.
I have been trying to work with the manager, Mike, who has been extremely difficult to get a hold of to get a refund for bothof our rooms that we booked, but we’re unable to stay in because of the black mold on the ceilings in the bathrooms, the musty smell in rooms, the peeling vinyl on the headboards the overhead lamps on the headboards do not work.
Getting a constant runaround, trying to get the refund, which still hasn’t been applied to my bank account
Now trying to call the hotel and reach them is next to impossible. I have sent several emails with no contact back on Email. I have calledseveral times was able to talk with a couple of people but now when I call it rings once and says the mailbox is full, so cannot contact anybody there.
I will be trying to contact Baymont /Wyndham corporate to let them know how their hotel is being run even if it’s privately owned I will continue continuous contact until I get refund
The room for the most part was horrible. No shower curtain, no ice bucket, the paint on the headboard is coming off both beds, the dome lights didn’t work. The phone didn’t have any dictionary on it to even call front desk. The front desk lady at check in wasn’t very helpful and housekeeping doesn’t understand much English.
It was a pleasure staying in this place as the staff members was very friendly and caring also there was free breakfast enough food for everyone who showed up I truly enjoyed open and clear communication hope to come back in the near future
My room was one the east side along I-294. There was constant traffic noise. Rooms and common areas were clean and only showed minor spots of wear. Phone in the room did not work. Tried to contact the front desk and no dial tone. Breakfast was very basic but good.
This hotel has gone downhill. 2 stars is generous. You get basic cable, a couple ultra thin towels, a freezing room which takes 4 hours to warm up, and an awful breakfast. The morning of check out a guy came to my room, asking my last name. What's up with that? I was going to leave a $10 tip for the maid but didn't leave it. I was afraid this guy would swipe it. The second night I stayed at the Best Western on Lake Street. It's right around the corner, same price as Baymont, and much better!
Poorly maintained!!! Hotel. We were flying out of O'Hare and this is not close by. It was 20-25 minutes north of O'Hare..
We had a wonderful stay while on a trip for a workshop we were attending. Everything was great. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. We slept great. The bed was so comfy. While people had complained about hearing the traffic from the interstate, it wasn’t that bad. When you stay in a hotel by the interstate, that will happen. We could hear it but not enough to wake us up or keep us from falling asleep. We will definitely be back when we return to the area. Thank you for a great stay.
Ok
Todo muy limpio y el personal muy amable
Nada
Was good!
Old unkept room and lobby
Met my request to be near my friend - even after I changed rooms!! Good job. Breakfast was enjoyed by all. Could have added muffins or sweet rolls along with bagels. Location was good for us to visit folks in Glenview. Property was quiet.
1. Staff was friendly and acommodating but not very knowledgeable about electronics or plumbing and seemed to be spread a bit thin. 2, Facilities seemed in the process of refurbishment, and had a neat but shopworn look (pleather was flaking, stairwell carpet very dirty.) Each of our rooms had issues that required attention by houskeeping or the front desk, including towels, lights blinking, tv issues and difficult diverter in shower. Most disconcerting was that the exterior lighting - including the main hotel sign - were out the night we arrived! 3. Cleanliness - floors in rooms & bathrooms were soap-residue-sticky. Need to rinse or change mixture. 4. Comfort was OK! Pillows were a bit hard and tight. 5. Attention to a couple of these items would have made this a good value. 6. Location: see comment about signage, above. We knew nothing about the hotel's location, but the vibe was not good from a safety and security perspective. OTHER: The staff was pleasant but may not have fully understood the nature of my issues and were inclined to automatically want to solve my problems by offering a room change. (in fairness,, I didn't even mention my shower difficulty)
Friendly staff and a very nice Continental Breakfast were highlights, although I always wish Breakfast was open a while longer. This inexpensive Hotel Room was very clean, and the Furnace/AC Unit had good controls, even if a bit noisy. No Coffee Maker was provided, and the big wooden Wardrobe in the room had a Light that wasn’t properly wired up or even plugged in. That said, we will probably stay here again. Well run, good location.
The staff was nice. only a few things could have been better. The shower did not have a shelf inside the shower to be able to place the soaps and shampoos on. needed to leave it all on the floor of the shower. the bathroom was very small and tight. The carpet on the stairs and hallways could have been cleaner. It did have free breakfast, and a computer with a printer free if needed which was very helpful. The rooms have DirecTV also great with movie channels.
No bugs, no odors, friendly staff. Good parking. Walk to restaurants. Wear and tear in the rooms. Poor quality breakfast. Waffles were ok. Reasonably hotel prices compared to others.
Hotel is extremely outdated, all furniture is falling apart. No room service for 4 days straight until we specifically asked for someone to come clean the room and change our towels.
I other a lot. I trust them
Nice Staff.
