Everything was central to the hotel.
Location is quiet and very convenient, an excellent choice for transiting Vancouver. In house restaurant is reasonably priced and excellent quality.
We've spent time at various hotels and locations throughout Vancouver over the years and quite enjoyed many of them, but none as much as we enjoyed Granville Island Hotel. Staying in a nice hotel on an Island with the Market, restaurants and food courts, artisans shops, buskers, parks and docks kept us happy and occupied for the full three days of our stay. All within an easy walk from the hotel. We highly recommend both the island and the hotel.
Great location!
Does anybody in the hotel industry travel with another person. One little soap dish in shower for two people. My wife had her stuff on the floor. And the products that were stuck to the wall had a vile stench. Why scented products.
location is very beautiful a view with a room is great the room was very well equipped and the beds are super comfy. room was very clean and no noise except for fog horns and planes. the services were very helpful and friendly.price the room was reasonable but the parking at the hotel is quite pricey I recommend parking just in granville island parking lots. And it was pet friendly at reasonable rates. And having granville market very close makes my experience more memorable.
From the excellent staff at front desk ,AJ and Liz, we were so welcomed and looked after. Clean, well equipped rooms. Convenient location for getting around. Very nicely situated restaurant on site.
Surprised at the 29% car parking tax.
I liked the king bed and hot tub and sauna and the shower the only thing we struggled was with the heat and ac
Just the heat and ac very hot and humid tried to cool it down kind of struggle but eventually it cooled down
Staff was friendly, hotel and rooms were clean, vocational is wonderful. Beautiful views!
The beds are double. (As advertised, bit still, a little small)
It's always great
Nothing
Location is very convenient
Prices of the restaurant
Beautiful, clean, quiet hotel in a great walking area by the marina. Highly recommend. Great staff, food is great at Dockside restaurant.
The location was terrific on Granville Island. It was a 3 minute walk to Granville Island market and we enjoyed exploring the shops, restaurants and waterfront on the island. It was easy to get to downtown either by car or taking a small cute ferry across to walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, had a small balcony and a lovely view of the water and a marina but it was a little small. We had to inch around the beds when moving around the room. We appreciated the tasty coffee pods and the coffee machine in the room as well as the two bottles of water daily and the chocolates at turn down service. My daughter used the workout machines and we both enjoyed the sauna and hot tub which was right down the hall from our room. The robes in the room were a good cover to wear down to the sauna and hot tub. We ate in the restaurant once which was delicious and has a beautiful view of the water. It was quite expensive however, as was the breakfast there which we ate at the Granville market instead.
The room could have been slightly larger.
This hotel is a hidden gem! If you want to enjoy Vancouver, but escape the busyness, this is the place! Surrounded by sailboats and a view of the city, it is a must see
the coffee service in the room is terrible, and it is annoying to have to ask especially for tea
All was going very good at check in, reception very nuce people, clean room and comfy even though smelled a bit musky
There was no hot water in my room, was not able to take a shower
All good but not hot water in my room, was not able to take a shower, very disappointing. Otherwise my stay would've been perfect
