No breakfast when breakfast was included
The staff are great. Very friendly. Due to an employee being a trainee, information was confusing and details missing, but the employee was very sweet, friendly and made great effort to be professional.
Details on the website were confusing, the manager was exceptionally kind to help with my misunderstanding, and assist in accommodating my situation in a friendly, professional manner.
Website information and details were confusing or vague. Rules about pets were incomplete. Pictures are way outdated. The room was a severe disappointment. The confusion from the website led to misunderstanding about rules around pets in the room.
There wasn't info in the room about the tv, and the remote didn't work. There weren't reminders of where pets were allowed. I signed papers at the check in counter, but I didn't get a copy of the rules or what I signed. Leaving me to go off memory, or ask the staff repeatedly.
The hotel was in the middle of repairs, lots of workers, dust, noisy tools, a warning on the website would have been appreciated.

That the hotel seems to be where families live. That made me feel uncomfortable at times.
At breakfast, the lady that set it up sat there and stared me down while I tried to eat. I took my food back to my room. Creepy
Hotel experience was really good (had noisy neighbors but to no fault of the staff)- clean & remodeling so took that into consideration. Decently close to downtown Grand Rapids with lots of food in decent radius
Didn't have breakfast pet friendly but 26 dollars fee is too much
Dirty sheets 1 curtain panel for black out light shower flooded the floor Dirty doors nasty furniture window was filthy with finger and hand prints and the mattresses were old and could feel the springs on our backs. The sheets also were piling felt like sleeping on sand.
Our bedding and bathroom was clean enough, and the hostess was kind. Other than that i cannot recommend this property. The carpet was gross, our room smelled like wet dog (it is a pet friendly hotel but this was beyond what i would expect), and housekeeping came over an hour before checkout asking us if we were leaving soon so they could come in and clean.

Truck noise starting at 4am. Across the street from some sort of distribution center so constantly starting at 4am EVERY DAY beep beep beep beep beep beep of trucks backing up. Locals living there. So, there are domestic disputes consistently.
Older lady at front desk lacks customer service skills..... That is when she's actually at the front desk and not outside smoking, which is most of the time.

They were doing revocation so I give them that but never stay there again.
Love a hotel that don’t say on their website they are under construction so you get to hear noise all afternoon and early evening. The girl at the desk will not let you check in 20 minutes early even with a half empty hotel. Hallways smell like paint so bad your eyes will water. But the night desk manager was nice and helpful and the bed was comfortable.
third shift employer he was nice
i made online reservations not even 24 hours they refused to cancel my reservation as pool wasnt working no ice machine and others complained as well . they did not offer bereavement discount as i was heading back to massachusetts with my mom’s ashes and all i wanted to do was relax in a pool as i had my mom’s celebration of life that day . and the lady who was at the counter was rude . i will not be returning
Got in late for a funeral and had to book 2 nights so that I can still work around the service for my uncle. Receptionist acted bothered when I got in. And to my suprise, the hotel was filthy. Nothing like the pictures. Carpets in hallways haven't been vacuumed in years it looked like. The whole hotel and stairways smelled like cleaning chemicals to pretend it's cleaned but it was overwhelming. The only thing decent in my room was the bed and again, overwhelming cleaning supplies smell to cover up that it probably wasn't washed. Had a guy bang on my door multiple times something about his tv and was being told he was switching rooms with me? I was in the middle of working and talking on the phone and had to scream at him through the door to go away. I left shortly after this instead of staying the full night because it was so miserable in a already hard time. I will never stay here again!
