Our stay at The Brown exceeded our expectations. Will stay again next time we are in Loisville.
Pros:

Beautiful, historic hotel. Lovely furnishings, beautiful lobby/bar area. Room was enormous and very comfortable. Bathroom and shower well-sized. Everything was very clean. Service was great!

Cons:

Had to ask for extra towels. Two towels in never enough for a couple.

Southern hospitality at its best!
Pros:

From the moment you are greeted by the doormen to the prompt checkin at the front desk, The Historic Brown hotel exemplifies Southern hospitality! Lee with security was amazing and helpful and Anna at the front desk was friendly and professional! The sleeping rooms are exceptionally large for a historic hotel! The hotel itself is pristine and comfortable! I had the pleasure of working with Louise, the Director of Catering, on an event and she is exceptional! The Crystal Ballroom is iconic and exquisite with the original chandeliers! The perfect setting for a social or corporate event! The Kentucky charm of the Brown hotel makes it the perfect choice for Louisville!

Very disappointed
Pros:

Breakfast very overpriced,dead flowers on all the tables.
Dull dreary hotel and room,not very clean.
Didn’t refresh coffee making facilities,given paper cups to drink out of.
Could not get taxi/uber very easily,40 minutes for one to arrive

Cons:

Most things ,would not go back or recommend.
