This is the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. The photos do not lie. The dining options are exceptional. Above all, the staff have a commitment to the highest level of service. Special call out to the Bamboo bar/pool area staff. Can't wait to return for the 5th time.

Pour le petit déjeuner :La variété des plats proposés
Le personnel est adorable et très poli

Franchement pour un établissement qui revendique ses racines françaises, les croissants étaient médiocres et ceux aux amandes carrément secs ( certainement faits avec les croissants inutilisés)
Je suis assez partagée sur le reste : enooorme différence entre l’aile historique et l’aile plus moderne : pas les mêmes services ni les mêmes équipements ( pas de crème pour le corps, savon non remplacé)
La vue de notre chambre était quasi inexistante puisque à l’angle d’un bâtiment avec le volet bloqué qui empêchait toute vue
Pas d’indication sur les lieux et horaires du petit dej
Le bagagiste attend ostensiblement un pourboire et c’est gênant
J’ai économisé toute l’année pour m’offrir ce genre d’établissement et compte tenu du tarif je m’attendais à quelque chose de bien plus raffiné

Still my all-time favourite in Hanoi. Warm, attentive hospitality. Dining is sheer delight, especially now that it is serving a special Pho in conjunction with its 125th anniversary.

Cons:

There was renovation at the property and it was loud in the bedroom. At the end, they moved me to another wing after 2 nights. Also at the pool you can hear construction all day long
