Memorable.
Pros:

The breakfast was the most wonderful selection of food gorgeously presented in the most lovely room.

We loved our cocktails in the bamboo bar.

In a charming location in the french quarter, close to wonderful shopping (very high end).

Cons:

There are two hotel buildings- one one in the back is nice but basic (our son stayed there). We asked to be moved to the other buildings and paid $300 US dollars more, but it was well worth it. We then received breakfast, tea and cocktails with a 3 tier plate of appetizers included in the price of our room. Well worth it!

Oasis of Luxury
Pros:

An oasis of luxury amid the chaos of Hanoi! Rooms large and comfortable. Food great. Pool are very nice. Well situated in the middle of the old town and french quatre.

One of the best city hotels

We spent three nights at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and consider it one of the best city hotels we have experienced worldwide.

This historic property is a true institution, maintained in impeccable condition and presented with great attention to detail. The entire hotel is spotless and carefully preserved, reflecting both its heritage and its high standards.

Amid the energy and constant movement of Hanoi, the hotel feels like a calm oasis in the middle of the bustle of the city. The atmosphere is elegant and quietly unique.

The airport pickup and limousine transfer were very well organized and seamless. The staff operate with a very high level of professionalism and are consistently helpful.
