The staff were amazingly helpful and very patient with my sparse Japanese ability
it was close to kappabashi st
it was toooo small
Its cheap for its place
good service offered by the hotel
nice open air bath
The room is small
Location isnt near any train station
Room is really very small
On the positive: staff (I should say as usual in Japan), location and calm. However, see below
Very small room (barely the space to put a suitcase in it), with no curtains , opaque windows so you can't see outside (which was a shame as we were on the 7th floor), a not so fresh interior, and finally very expensive for what it is. Hotel rooms tend to be ridiculously small in Japan, and this is a case in point.
Onsen/spa was a nice little perk.
Rooms were extremely small and our room didn't completely darken. Beds were not that comfortable either.
I did like that the property was super clean and the towels were changed daily. The onsen was also great.
The location is a bit far from the train stop. It is between two train stops. Not the worst deal but something to keep in mind. About a 10 min walk to the stop
Schöne Lage, kleines hotel mit schöner Ausstattung.
Zwar kleines Zimmer, was man ja aber weiß.
Wandtapete.
The staff has been really helpful. The spa is a major bonus. Quiet and calm.
It's a bit of a walk from Ueno Station but other than that no complaints.
