Location was great for Asakusa, Sky tree and Ueno Park, with metro stations and convenience stores less than 5 min walking distance away. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Really good value for money.
Space is tight if you’re a family of 5 like us and traveling with many suitcases.
It is in a great location, on a side street so it's not too busy, but right between Asakusa and Ueno, and super easy to get everywhere on the subway.
The rooftop onsen really makes it worthwhile.
There is also a coin laundry right next door (no detergent needed) if your clothes need a refresh.
일단 루프탑 노천탕이 너무 좋았습니다 매일 2만보이상 걸어다녔는데 탕에 들어가서 몸 좀 지지니까 개운하네요
Very clean room + facilities, super comfy bed, lots of amenities, and relaxing rooftop hot bath. Kind and attentive staff. Close to Ueno park and major train stations for short and long train journeys. The Narita express stops at Ueno station, making it an easy transfer from the airport. The room was small, as is generally the case in Tokyo, but comfortable for me as a solo traveler with only a large backpack. Would have felt crammed if we were two.
Regardless of what the thermostat said, my room was always too cold, it seems as if they had turned on the AC in the middle of the winter which made no sense.
It was a clean and comfortable place to stay with really nice facilities staff were lovely and friendly

The staff provided excellent service. We were traveling during the year-end holiday season, and on the night of our stay (January 1), one of our family members had an emergency and needed to go to the hospital. The staff kindly helped us contact the hospital to ask about foreigner acceptance and procedures. They also assisted us in checking whether the local trains were operating overnight due to the holiday. Their support during this stressful situation was truly appreciated.
After check-out, we left all of our luggage at the front desk until late afternoon for pickup. We had quite a lot of luggage, but the staff took great care of everything for us. Their helpfulness and professionalism made our stay much more comfortable.
We traveled as a family of six, including four children, and booked two rooms for our stay. However, the hotel assigned our rooms on different floors. During this trip, all other hotels we stayed at placed our two rooms on the same floor and next to each other, and we had also booked these two rooms at KIN Hotel in a single reservation. Being separated made it inconvenient, especially with young children and a lot of luggage. We had to make multiple trips between floors to settle the children and organize our belongings. The hallways are narrow, and there is only one elevator serving nine floors, which added to the difficulty. If the rooms had been on the same floor, it would have made our stay much more convenient.
Additionally, using the open-air bath was somewhat troublesome. We had to hand in our room key cards at the front desk in exchange for access cards to the rooftop bath, which felt inconvenient and time-consuming.
Roof top onsen, grocery store and station are near
Room is bit small
I like the spa
- the hair dryer
-When I just arrived and checked the washroom, I noticed there was some hair in the sink and it wasn’t cleaned.
- My phone isn’t able to charge properly when connected to the power socket, the battery level actually drops while charging. However, when I try another charger, it works.
So I think the issue might be that the Type-C to USB cable doesn’t work, while Type-C to Type-C works.
(btw , I’ve also tried my Type-C to USB cable in other places and it works.)
