Very nice place to stay for small group
Nice and clean , nice staff , dinning room and food was good .
Had to pay for parking and no microwave in room .
Location is great!! Very clean and quiet
Nice relaxing place, great breakfast too
Few places, like some doors and patio screens require updating
Overall, great place to relax
Picturesque boutique hotel with an Art Nouveau decor. However, thought the parking fee of $20 was excessive for a mid-week stay, since the parking lot was nearly empty and the fee was not disclosed during the booking process.
Easy breezy
Very nice stay here
Staff was excellent and hotel very well kept
Pool and spa very clean
Area around pool area is beautiful
I’m a realtor from Orange County who was up looking at property for a client. I was traveling with my amputee service dog, and Penny could not have been more accommodating to me and my pup!! I can’t wait to go back and stay there once I get my property in escrow. Beautiful property and the most friendly staff. The gentleman at breakfast cooking for us was also extremely kind.
Clean, comfortable close enough to get anywhere you want to and yet far enough to be comfortable and quiet.
A beautiful place to stay while in Big Bear. It’s close enough to the Village and Big Bear Laje. The staff and hotel are great and make sure you have all you need. The only inconvenience was all the construction going on around the property but they don’t have control of when the city places those into action.
Nice
The look of the property is unique and beautiful, nothing like it in the area, nested against large pine trees, made the experience one of a kind. Highly recommended this property.
The free breakfast was good. Lots of options. The beds were not very comfortable. The sheets felt like fine grit sandpaper. Overall, I'd say the hotel was pretty average.
The restaurant and bar was not opened as advertised. It is only opened Friday & Saturday.
They should disclose that on their website!
Breakfast was okay. Scrambled eggs were cold.
Great experience with a unique atmosphere.
Great property, only negatives were slow internet, hard to control AC and limited TV channels
HD a great time and it want crowded
Booked hotel based on reviews. Check-in was not a great experience. There was an event at the hotel which meant the car park and grounds were full and the pool was effectively out of bounds. The room was small and shabby (cracked sink, chipped furniture etc) and the balcony looked over messy back yards.
Self-service breakfast was good.
You can hear a conversation clearly from your next suite
The views was a buck wall
Great staff and they made everthing amazing
Experience could have been a better, very disappointing stay. Found out the next morning there was a planned power outage. We were not advised at check in. I was traveling with my young son alone for a baseball tournament and the power went out after dinner. I was unable to shower. No one came around to advise of what was going on. It was an uncomfortable night with no air. I had no service and my phone was nearly dead so I had to save it and I did not feel safe to leave my room with my son at that time of night. In the morning I received no apology or explanation of what happened. I found out through social media of the outage.
