Execente volvere este año
Pros:

En general todo estuvo muy bien el restaurant mole y tacos por la mañana y por la noche se llevaron los mejores desayunos y cenas de la estancia

Cons:

solo 2 cosas no esta incluido el roam service en el todo incluido y una mujer cerca del lobby estaba muy insistente a que tomaramos una platica con ella al principio nos dijo 5 min pero luego investigue con el demas personal y me comentaron que es una platica de hasta una hora y la verdad en vacaciones no queria saber nada de negocios de tiempo compartido

Very nice hotel, facilities and staff. A bit old though. Quality and variety of food to be improved.
Pros:

I love the facilities, specially the facilities they have for kids. Full of entertainment options for them, which is really great and make parent´s life much easier. Lovely staff at kid´s club. Definitely one of the best options for families.

Cons:

The hotel in general is very nice, but a bit old. Specially, you feel it in the bathrooms... some items rusted, damaged, old fashioned... I think with a bit of investment the hotel could be a 10.
Food is average and it is quite repetitive. Too much Mexican style food, which does not cater so much for foreign guests.

Pros:

The actual lobby was nice and spacious. The ocean view was nice. The turtles in the ponds were nice.

Cons:

The food was awful. Our shower in our room was broken and sounded like it would explode. Exposed electrical in our room. Not great customer service I’m still waiting to hear from the after we checked out 2 days ago.

Pros:

I had booked a room with 2 beds but when we arrived we were given a room with 1 king sized bed.
However, the staff worked very hard to get this corrected and by the end of the day we were moved to a room with 2 beds.

We liked everything about our stay at the Melia. We would like to go back next year and stay in the tower that faces the ocean.

We really enjoyed our time at the Melia.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and we really appreciated the help we got from Jesus at the time of check-in. He provided lots of information on the resort and set us up for our stay.

We had some family members visit for the day and they were able to purchase a day pass to the resort. I thought this was a great idea and we took advantage of this service.

Cons:

Some of the bartenders would get grumpy if you were not tipping regularly. One day I ran out of cash and didn't tip at the bar. I noticed the level of service would change depending on the frequency of the tips.

It would be nice to see some updates in the gym as the area was very small and unable to accommodate more than 2 or 3 people at a time.

Cons:

Pasillos hacia las habitaciones y áreas de ascensores muy oscuras en horas nocturnas. Zonas reservadas por otros huéspedes en áreas de playa y piscina no controladas por el personal del hotel.

Fabulous memorable dinner at Fish House ocean view restaurant @ Mia Puerto Vallarta
Pros:

Top notch restaurant with top notch service. Ruben went above and beyond. Food was exceptional and the service took it to a new level. Ruben was extremely helpful meeting our groups unique pallets with helpful information & suggestions. He was very knowledgeable. It was nice to meet Victor (I believe he was the restaurant mgr) & personally thank him for taking such good care of our family.

Pros:

Location is great. Food needs improvement. Chair hogging needs to be addressed. Rooms are great. Bathrooms are difficult. Drinks are definitely watered down.
