I paid extra for a riverview room and I was not accommodated or refunded my money.
I loved the free breakfast in the morning
The parking is kind of a pain, but there is extra spots. You just have to ask them where they will notify you where you can park and where you cannot due to renovations being done.
The location was good. The beds, comfortable.
The morning staff was nice. Proximity to my vehicle, in this case, was good. The river view was nice.
. Noisy with every door closing heard along the entire hall. The evening clerk mumbled, "name" upon my entering and then, ""ID and card" . I asked about parking and she said anywhere, it's free. Extra lot on the side.". That was the sum total of my check in conversation. No greeting, thank you etc., just minimal words. The morning clerk was friendly and thanked me and wished me safe travels.
I also got a hardy "good morning" from the lady cleaning the rooms as I left. Very nice.
Breakfast was bagels, cereal, scrambled eggs and waffles. I passed.
The room was over priced. I've had cleaner, quieter rooms from budget hotels that were a better value where my expectations were exceeded. It was disappointing to pay a premium price for a room that should have been cleaner and quieter.
The location was perfect and the parking lots were very well lit.

The cook and older lady at the front desk was nice. Location is good for summer.
Bathroom door didnt shut. Younger lady at the front desk was not so friendly. Why is there no trash can in the rooms? The parking issue, no one explained before or during.

Everything was good
First off, at Sign-In, booked by my mistake for next Night & the Attendant Resolved! Room spectacularly clean. Bed was medium-firm, Perfectly comfy. View? Stupendous. Daybreak was Stunning. Nearby Dining & Shopping - perfect. Free Parking, covered ground floor under Building. Easy On/Off Interstate - awesome location. Wife took advantage of the breakfast, pleased. Room HVAC quieter than many, thermostat controlled and ran infrequently. Hot Water & very good pressure of Shower.
The Weather! Check-in Day breezy & chilly. The Elevator usage a bit cumbersome. Wife may have appreciated soaking in a bathtub, though did not complain. I appreciated a walk-in Shower versus a tub/shower combo as is typical.
The room was nice
The Front Office Manager, Leo, was smug, accusatory, and just would not listen. He insisted in charging me another rate that was higher than the one I booked through Booking.com. now, im not talking the refundable deposit that is stated, im talking the actual nightly rate. Then told me I could leave if I didn't like it. I was supposed to be heading to an important event and all rooms were booked up. Thankfully, the next morning a front desk agent helped me and actually looked at my documents from Booking.com and adjusted me to the correct rate. It should never have come to that. Leo should have taken the time to look at my documents instead of insinuating that I was not being factual and was getting too loud. *The acoustics in the lobby are great BTW. I was not loud, but the room did amplify my voice.*. He acted as if I was wasting his time away from the backroom having to come out and "deal" with me. We also didnt get to enjoy our "included" breakfast as they would not tell us when it was when we received our keys. They also deactivated our room keys a few times. My husband and I had to each go down at seperate times due to our keys being deactivated unnecessarily. Needless to say that while the hotel itself is nice, I would not recommend any Booking.com customer to go to them, because they will charge you at a higher rate then what you were quoted when you made the booking.
