Discrimination
Pros:

Do not stay at comfort inn. I was discriminated against at this location, I live over 47 miles from Comfort Inn. I had reservations for a month and a half in advance for a concert at the Mac center that’s directly beside the hotel. I called to confirm hours before checking in the employee said that I was not allowed to stay there because I was consider.”local” telling me that I had to live 50 miles or more. I thought she was joking, but she was not. She said we are not going to let you have a room here mind you this was absolutely ridiculous! I have never been treated so disrespect in my life and discriminated against basically if you live within 50 mile radius, they will not let you stay there at Comfort Inn. This is exactly what happened to me absolute disgrace and I was treated absolutely horrible. I had to end up finding a hotel next-door at quality Inn within hours of the concert.

Discrimination .. I live 47 miles from comfort Inn hotel I had reservations for a month and a half in advance for a concert at the Mac center in Prestonsburg Ky that’s directly beside the hotel. I had reservations a month and a half prior I called ahead of time to see if I could check in a couple of hours early and to confirm reservation an employee to answer. The phone said that I was not allowed to stay at the hotel because I was considered local, I live 47 miles from the hotel. She said I had to be 50 miles or more. I honestly thought she was joking. Then her tone was disrespectful and rude. she told me I was not gonna have a room there. I was horrified and upset I could not understand why anyone could be so cruel and mean I was hours from being at the concert. The concert ended late and hard for me to see to drive home at dark .. It’s the reason I got the hotel booked I was refused my reservation because of a 4 mile difference in Her rules . I had to at the last minute book with another hotel directly beside of comfort inn at quality inn hotel which had no problem letting me stay. Do not stay at Comfort Inn in Prestonsburg Kentucky. They discriminate and are absolutely disgusting behavior.

Will stay here on next visit to Prestonsburg!
Pros:

Courteous and competent service from check in to check out! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and had all amenities, needed, from lots of conveniently located electrical/USB outlets to well-lit bathroom with separate switches for fan and lights. King size room was spacious and comfortable. Spacious breakfast area with plenty of tables. Good breakfast with staff available to assist.
