Nothing really, just my general comment on all US hotels. I wish they wouldn't use all disposable cups plates and cutlery for the breakfast. Not good for the environment and plastic cutlery doesn't work well.l

We were thankful to have a nice place to stay while in the area.
Pros:

I was in Prestonsburg because my granddaughter was having surgery at the local hospital. I needed to stay an additional day, and the staff was so accommodating by arranging for me to keep the same room so I did not have to worry about moving my things and could focus on my granddaughter.

Cons:

I was disappointed that the pool was not open. We had hoped to have that as a distraction for granddaughter the night before her procedure. However, I was notified by email of the closure before my arrival.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly and I was able to check in early which I appreciated. I also fell and cut my knee and they were able to provide a first aid kit and some cream for leg. Room was cozy and cute I felt safe

No bandage in first aid kit

Pros:

Absolutely perfect , i had forgotten that we stayed there several years ago. It looks like its been updated some. Extremely clean , breakfast was fantastic and we will definitely being staying with you again when we come back. Excellent service and staff is wonderful .

Cons:

Beds somehow are not comfortable. I was upset the pool was closed and no one told us. We've been there many times and knew there was a pool but was closed and will only return as an outdoor pool. So we may may have to find a different venue for our next stay. It was our choice until this visit.

If you are traveling alone or with a family, I think this is the place you want.
Pros:

When you walk into any hotel room that has colored bedspreads on the bed RUN away. It means they are hiding stains or dirt. This hotel had bright white bedding and towels. The room was spotless, bed pillows were great, and the bed was super comfortable. I could not have been more pleased. I did not eat the supplied breakfast, but I can tell you it smelled wonderful. If you are traveling alone or with a family, I think this is the place you want.

Cons:

I have been thinking...and nothing comes to mind. Oh, wait, maybe a note in the rooms as to where to find the ice machine.
