Enjoyed my stay--would return!
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel was very busy when we were there, but still public areas were well-maintained and the staff were always available to answer questions.

Cons:

For folks who can't eat gluten, breakfast was super-challenging. Lots of bread, bagels, waffles, biscuits, and oatmeal that is not gluten-free. More options of fruit, cottage cheese or greek yogurt would be helpful.

Affordable stay close to downtown Durango
Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access for taking our dog in and out, and a nice large grassy area for pet relieving himself. Popcorn in the afternoon for free was a nice treat. The room was spacious.

Cons:

The beds are ok but not fantastic. There was a noisy group that woke us late at night, but that was only one night.

Pros:

Good location, friendly staff, comfy beds. Free popcorn all day, free cookies in the afternoon.

Cons:

The walls in the room are pretty thin. You can hear conversations from the other rooms. Though no traffic noise if in a room facing the hillside. The hot breakfast food was undercooked at times (occasional soggy center in a biscuit and sausage that was still cold) and the coffee kept running out. They appeared understaffed but those that were working were working really hard and tried their best.

It's in a convenient spot and the employees are always friendly.

Cons:

It's dingy and kinda dark compared to most modern hotels. It can get pretty loud during high season until late hours.
