No microwave in room I purchased a frozen burrito from snack area in hotel. Only ti find I had no where to heat it up.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Location was great in terms of immediate amenities around the property and within walking distance to the beach.

Cons:

Not that many negatives. Only negative is the shower stall felt a little too cramped, but overall no complaints.

Relaxing, beautiful, wonderful.
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful! As soon as we parked, there was a beautiful mural on the wall. Wonderful location, comfortable bed, we had a jetted tub?! That was awesome. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was kind, and the price of the hotel was fantastic. 10/10

Decent hotel, just nothing to really do in the area.
Pros:

Staff lovely and helpful, good size room and excellent large comfy bed.

Cons:

Location is not good, there's really nothing going on outside the hotel except for a couple of cafes and restaurants. It's a half hour walk down to the harbour and nothing much seems to be happening down there anyway except for Capt Dave's Whale Watching Safari, which is the reason we stayed in Dana Point, and was a total disappointment. Didn't try the breakfast as didn't appear to be good. There is an amazing gluten free cafe across the road.

Great place to relax & be able to really enjoy Dana Point
Pros:

The 1st thing you'll notice is the great location. So beautiful & walkable. We walked to 2 parks & the best homemade ice cream place. Best of all, the staff was so helpful & friendly. The room was large & clean & parking was easy.

Hotel looked old but room was clean
Pros:

All staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was your standard fare, but the coffee was very good. I am only giving this hotel a three-star rating because it appeared to be quite run down. We had a room with two queen beds, a balcony, and a sitting room. Our room entrance was on the outside, not the interior, which is never my preference. We arrived around 10 PM. Upon entering our room, we were met with a rather strange odor (cleaning agents?) and the lights didn't work from the wall switch. We had to enter dark rooms using the flashlight feature on our phones to locate floor lamp switches. This is not the safest situation for women. The furniture and mattresses looked very old but were clean. The tub/shower also looked extremely beat up. Free parking was very convenient in a garage type setting.

Great location and excellent staff.
Pros:

Stayed here for six nights. Hotel was clean and we found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great, a few minutes walk to the beach and quite a few restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Zentrale Lage, viele Parkplätze und gutes Frühstück
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Highway Nr One, somit ist mit verstärktem Verkehr zu rechnen. Ausreichend Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und die Balkone laden zum Verweilen ein, aber insgesamt ist eine Modernisierung mal notwendig. Das Frühstück war klassisch BW, aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Lage vom Hotel und der kurze Fußweg zum Strand bzw Hafen sind ideal.

Cons:

Der Straßenverkehr ist deutlich wahrnehmbar und eine frühere Anreise ist trotz zahlreicher freier Zimmer nicht möglich gewesen, so dass wir eine "Strafe" bezahlen mussten - wir waren gegen 13 Uhr vor Ort und ab 15 Uhr war offizielles Einchecken. Und die Zimmer müssen dringend modernisiert werden.
