The hotel was very central and the room was spotless. There was a very wide range of food available for breakfast, however I found the 9.30 a.m closing time a little early

Proche également du marché aux poissons, de l'office du tourisme et des nombreux restaurants.

The hotel has an excellent location, with all the main attractions and points of interest within a very short distance. The layout of the room was very convenient; however, there was a strong musty smell. The rooms do not have air conditioning, so it was extremely hot inside. The lobby staff did their best to help by providing two portable fans, as the one in the room was not working properly.
In terms of amenities, the room does not have a telephone to contact the front desk, which is a real inconvenience. Any question or request requires going all the way down to reception.
Regarding breakfast, it was varied, the food was good, and there was plenty of space for all the guests.
Considering the price per night, I believe the hotel should make its check-in process more efficient. On the day of my arrival, I was told that check-in was at 3:00 p.m., but I still had to wait quite a while before receiving my room.
Our room was very comfortable with plenty of room. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location was right across for the Byggen area and we could walk to it. The staff was most helpful and we loved all their recommendations for places to eat.

Lovely hotel. Seemed clean and tidy in all areas we used. Staff helped when asked.
The breakfast was a bit manic and no seats left but to be fair we did go when they said it would be busier. The food was a good range and no shortage. An espresso machine would be nice although not to frequent in Norway anyway.
