Our stay was sadly very disappointing. Check your room for bugs thoroughly.
Pros:

The property smelled good and the pool was great. The maintenance man in particular was kind.

Cons:

There was an ant infestation in our room. I unknowingly placed one suitcase near the colony and got ate up with ants when getting dressed in the morning. When I inspected the suitcase I saw ants EVERYWHERE. Our suitcase was reorganized upon arrival so I know for sure there were no issues with our luggage and there was no food in the suitcase. The maitenance man came and found an ant pile behind the chair next to my suitcase. He was as helpful as he could be about the situation. The lady at the front desk was abrupt with us. She made the situation more frustrating for us and it wasn’t until hours later while we were washing our clothes that I received an apology (that felt very forced) for the situation. We had one full day to explore Gulf Shores and had to cancel most of our plans because of needing to rewash everything we packed. My child was quite upset so I did what I could to cheer her up by letting her swim while I washed the clothes. We took her to the beach and then drove 6 hours to go home early as there were no new rooms offered and we felt burned by the experience entirely and just wanted to leave.

Not too bad
Pros:

The staff was friendly and room was clean.

Cons:

The pool was disgusting. Cigarette butts in the water. Trash all around the pool. My wife cleaned the pool her self so our children didn't have to swim around garbage and weave

Amazing experience
Pros:

Relaxing and pool,grandkids loved it and so close to shopping and amusement park/beach

Cons:

No complimentary breakfast,and not being able to use my AAA I booked through a third party unaware I should have booked with MARRIOT. I’m now a member!!
