The location and the friendly staff
The bathtub had stains that looked like rust or something
Proximity - downtown hotel within walking distance of antique stores, restaurants and bars. Room comfortable and clean. Refrigerator a plus. Friendly staff who were willing to answer questions and assist when asked.
The breakfast room a little dismal. Pastries were somewhat bland.
Location, My family has history in Sonora and this hotel.
Bathroom facilities
Location and staff
Tiny, uninsulated room extremely noisy to outside traffic and pedestrians, and inside to other guests. Very noisy A/C unit.

It is a historic old building with grand old touches here and there. It’s got an old timey style that I really enjoyed.
Old buildings have character, as well as idiosyncrasies.
-Our room was tight: the door opened to the foot of the bed.
An improvised workspace counter next to the window was only 6-8” wide which made it too difficult to operate a laptop with paperwork adjacent on the counter.
-A window-mounted residential air conditioner provided heat in our room, but we had to prop a wedge in the fins of the fan so warm air would blow down into the room. The unit needs to be repaired or replaced.
-The antique style of the bathtub/shower was cool but it emptied slowly because the drain was probably plugged a bit from hair build-up.
Location, Staff, and Value of stay are amazing.
The hotel was clean and we really liked how convenient it was as it was right in the downtown area. The staff was great and our dogs loved it. Would definitely stay there again.
Very historic, unique and colorful. Loved the lights all around the rooms. It was very cute
Wish the hall lights would turn off after a certain time, they were pretty bright
