The staff at the counter up front was wonderful and very helpful. They listened to what happened to me and my partner after we had gotten over the initial shock of the incident.
I didn’t like a cable guy having the ability to waltz right into my room without warning. My boyfriend and I were having an intimate moment and were very naked when some strange man opened the door and started to come in. He then starts to awkwardly while giggling to say he was with the cable company and was trying to fix it for the hotel and he was sorry he interrupted. My boyfriend and I were mortified (as a woman I was terrified cause I was staying the night alone there)but before the door finally shut he stopped it and joked the good news is the cables fixed! And laughed down the hall. We sat there for half an hour stunned that a stranger had just invaded our privacy and then continued a conversation about the tv when we were VERY naked.
Then someone else knocked loudly said they were from the cable company and we said we were good to go say we were indecent. This left us puzzled.
We ordered in and just tried to enjoy each other’s company for the rest of the time we had because we are a long distance relationship. I told a manager and a maintenance guy later about the ordeal and they were very apologetic about what had happened but then said it could have been another guest (which had my mind racing with questions) and they just couldn’t think of who it was cause they have procedures to enter guests room. They didn’t offer me another room to make me feel safe. They didn’t offer compensation for such a horrific experience. Just a sympathetic apology. I didn’t sleep sound all night. Woke up at any sound. I would not recommend this hotel to any woman traveling alone.
DISGUSTING!! Mold all over in the bathroom, lamp shade ripped, window blind with a large hole in it, and broken/ no working plugs! NEVER AGAIN!!
Convenient to interstate and all types of eateries. Their breakfast was awesome..
The commode was too low to the ground.
Location-near the highway but somewhat secluded. AC unit was relatively quiet. Good breakfast.
Bathroom needs painting.
The facility is very outdated. The room was fairly clean but the lobby and halls looked like they had not been clean in awhile.
Outdated. Public areas were definitely dirty. Twice when I went to the desk, no one was there for a fair amount of time.
It is close to where we were going. Staff was friendly.
There was some mold in the shower. Some people in another room were really loud at 4:00 am and woke up everyone in our room. Checked to see if any suites were on the 1st floor as we have someone who has to use a rolator and if there was a fire could not get down the steps at all. There are none!
Bed was sagging in the middle, 4 USB ports but 3 were broken, dirty sock left on the floor by past guest, vending machine only took dollar bills and the desk had none, No toilet paper in the pool restroom.
