The staff were very friendly indeed and very helpful. The beds were comfortable.

Booked via luxury escape so I thought a rather good deal
Club floor with access to clubroom
Well the coffee machine didn't work for my entire 3 days there as the staff didn't turn it on only during their 5-7 pm snack and drink service
One of the worst hotel as door slamming is concerned
The idiot guests and cleaning staff as well- just banging the doors constantly instead of closing it gently
The hotel messages me before arrival to fill the online check in here I find out they charges 200$/ night security bond!
Also they send printed on their email that among the benefit there is a 50$ credit towards food- when I asked it they said it was an error and doesn't show on bookings- they sent me 2 days before arrival!
Even the staff wasn't too nice about it
A reception staff asked me to send this email to her so she can send it to reservation- could just give it without the hassle to go through their disorganised mess?
Also the bathroom has no phone so be careful and take your mobile there as if you slip and can't get up on your own u just trapped there!
Been in many 5* hotels in my life
This is certainly not one of them
Also breakfast is rather mediocre 1 orange 1 apple juice the cheap variety
Same breakfast every day they dont replenish items as I noticed getting down even at opening and people picked up all smoked salmon in 2 second no replacement after
The club lounge little daily plate of appetisers were very good and some of their staff excellent but if there is a rush like on Friday they need more person up there to cope!

Love this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone but never will I recommend a City View Suite, particularly room 1201. The Suite is lovely, but what you don't discover until too late is that the bedroom backs onto the lift well. A two-night stay ruined by the constant lift use, even at 2.30am. What should have been a lovely birthday treat was instead a nightmare of very little, relaxing sleep. Disappointed.

This is our second stay at the Duxton. We had the fantastic $65 Brunch buffet on Saturday at the Firewater Grill opposite the lobby, stayed Saturday night in a king deluxe room, then had the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning.

- The food is incredible for the price. Real high quality, expertly prepared food that has amazing flavour. The brunch buffet is ridiculously good value, with champagne and vodka included. Not the massive selection you see at some mega buffets at some places, but a smaller range of premium food. You even get to select a main course with your meal. The chicken main was nearly worth the cost of the main.

- The room was immaculate.....very clean and it had everything you need. A modern, open shower was a delight, just like we have at home. We got some free soft drinks and snacks in the minibar anda decent bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The bed was great, soft but still firm.

- The breakfast buffet was excellent. Lots of high quality food to choose from and you could have as many glasses of champagne as you want if you didn't mind an early start to your day drinking

We were very happy with the room price, the hotel and restaurant staff were excellent and the food is amazing for the price. A really great, classy inner city destination at outer suburbs prices. We can't wait to go back!

Le lit et la déco

Duxton Hotel allowed early check-in which is one of the very few hotels in Perth who do that. My travel to Perth often requires early check-in and it helps me to organise the day of arrival.

Nice room

Staff were super friendly. The room was beautiful and clean!

I enjoy the 24/7 Gym this is an important factor for me hence why i stay often- Breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are very good including the coffee machine.

Great location, beautiful hotel, very friendly welcome by staff (together with a glass of bubbly), smooth check in, the room / bathroom were spotless, we were very happy we chose The Duxton, there was even a nice bottle of red wine to welcome us in our room.
