The holiday at Hilton hotel was a great experience. They had amazing breakfast and a decent à la cart dinner. The Rooms were always serviced, they always had the room cleaned and carpets looked freshly vacuumed and we were always provided fresh towels. There was no outside noise seeping into the room. Very peaceful. The hotel was a short drive away from the beach. Highly recommend the hotel.

The first room had a filthy stained carpet. The 2nd room shower would flow into the bathroom. A pool of water would collect around the toilet and outside the shower. This can cause serious injury.

Wouldn't stay here again to be honest. Booked it initially because of location, brand reputation and that that it's classed as 5-star but the hotel itself is ageing and the amenities provided weren't up to a 5-star level.
Pros:
- The fitness centre is well-equipped and clean. Water and towels are replenished regularly.
- The lobby is grand and staff were friendly during check-in and check-out. They helped us with our luggage each time.
- There is a spa onsite which is great.
- Rooms have both a shower and a bath tub which offers guests flexibility.
- Room service was very quick for what we ordered (pizza) and it was tasty.
- Black out curtains were great and blocked out the early morning sun.
Cons:
- Amenities that you would expect at a 5-star hotel were not provided. i.e. no slippers, bathrobes or hand towels. This was disappointing since I've been in 3-star hotels that provide all of these items, as well as a dental kit. It felt like here they were only giving the bare minimum.
- Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are attached to the wall of the shower, meaning that its not very easy to use them if you're in the bath tub, unless you unclip each bottle from the shower wall.
- The carpet was really aged, and needs to be replaced.
- The pool area wasn't really attended too. Only one of the loungers had a cushion on it, the rest were just bare metal.
- The window latch was also quite aged. Even though we were on the 10th floor, we could still hear noise from the traffic below. This may have been due to the window not closing properly due to the latch, or lack of soundproofing around the windows.
- Dirty windows
- We had brough some of our own glasses to use, which were distinct from the glasses provided by the hotel. These were taken from the room even though they shouldn't have been. We had to ask for them to be returned over multiple days, and only on third day of asking, were we told that one of the glasses had been broken and we would only get 1 back.
Overall, it feels like the hotel has been a bit neglected.
