This was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever experienced. It started with the on-site support from Rebecca, who helped with an upgrade; then carried through to the incredible Sara, who greeted us each morning at breakfast like a ray of sunshine. Their hospitality set the tone for our entire stay.
What really sets this '5-star' stay apart was the perfect blend of intimacy and full-service comfort. From a spacious room, well-equipped fitness studio, a relaxing hot tub, to a breakfast buffet to die for.
The location couldn’t be more ideal. You’re close to everything without the downtown chaos, and the quiet vibe makes it feel so private.
If you’re visiting Asheville, do yourself a favor and book it. - Kevin
Excellent hotel. Sara at the front desk was amazing. Always polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Pepe managed the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had at a residence inn.
We just spent 2 nights here... And to be honest, was a little nervous about some of the negative reviews ahead of our visit. But, we decided to focus on the positive and are so glad we did!
Staff was wonderful! From check in, housekeeping and the 'breakfast guy' (as my husband called him)....breakfast was great by the way. Everyone was friendly, accommodating and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Rare find. They went above and beyond. Our basset enjoyed the attention too :)
Location was perfect. Close to Biltmore and down town. Plenty of food options within 1-2 miles and everything appeared to be open.
Our room... This is where I admittedly get hung up most places as I'm very picky about cleanliness and the nitty-gritty details. I bring my own cleaning supplies with me on all vacations... Not to worry! This was one of the tidiest and cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in. Wet swiffer didn't have a bit of dirt on it...yes, I'm that PICKY!! Counters, fridge, carpet and bathroom spotless. Ahhhhhhh...
Absolutely, without a doubt will stay here again and again. Thank you for such an amazing visit!!!
Location
Ac unit sounded like a jet plane starting up and very loud . Had a hard time sleeping since it would wake us up when it came to n
The hotel rooms are very dirty. The amenities are minimal too. The staff is very nice, the free breakfast is a plus, the fitness room is minimal and dirty without any water or towels half the time, the location is good and close to the Biltmore Estates, it made my day to see larger dogs here too, but there seemed to no place for them to walk or relieve themselves, housekeeping does a minimal job at refreshing the room and it always felt dirty. The sofa bed mattress had spots underneath it which scared us. The in room coffee maker is very outdated. They need to do a deep clean and be a cleaner place with more upgraded amenities.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely kind and went above and beyond. You could tell the hotel and been recently renovated.
We didn't like the set up of the bathroom, with the sink outside. Breakfast was mid, but the staff on duty in the cafe was monitoring every little thing we did and made us feel uncomfortable.
It was really quiet, clean, and spacious.
Staff very friendly.
Great staff. All were friendly, professional and helpful
Great place to stay.
Very nice stay, facility was nice and so was the staff
We kept having issues with our ac and staying on what we set it on.
My husband and I stayed over a long weekend to visit local sites. The hotel is super clean, the room was quiet/comfortable, and the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The location is also within a 10-minute drive to The Biltmore. All in all, a pleasant surprise!
Absolutely horrible. Booked a suite with a queen bed with a sofa bed and was given a suite with no sofa bed so 3 adults with only 1 bed. Room is full of mold. The bathtub had so much pink mold around the drain with slime that I had to scrub the tub just to shower. Front desk was awful and didn’t even care.
Joint birthday celebration with my husband. Breakfast was excellent! Cage free scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, potato slices with skins, onions and peppers . Toast, bagels, muffins, bread, DIY waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit… close to all but far enough for privacy. Informative and friendly staff. Front desk young man gave us the best pizza just three storefronts away! Standard Pizza is so not standard. Clean efficiency rooms. No complaints. Will go again. Only 1/2 mile to entrance of Biltmore.
We loved this Residence Inn! It’s been refurbished in the last couple of years and the suites are modern and sleek. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are more than clean; as they’ve been thoughtfully designed with plenty of counter/desk top space. The housekeeping staff is first rate and deserve to be recognized, as this hotel is shiny bright CLEAN. Kudos to this hotel as they are doing an amazing job!
We chose Residence Inn after we discovered our previously planned hotel was without water. Residence Inn is conveniently located near Biltmore and downtown Asheville. Our suite with two bedrooms, a living and full kitchen areas was comfortable and clean. The staff very helpful. The breakfast was high-end for a Residence Inn class hotel, although the juice dispenser was not working. We thought that bottled juice would be an appropriate substitute, but it was only offered for sale. We are glad we found Residence Inn.
Cleanliness, location
A little pricey. Check in staff not too friendly but ok . Not what you normally experience at other Marriot Inns
The Property was very nice and area charming so sad for what happened to the people in Asheville the week after we left
Great staff, clean, nice breakfast, quiet, great amenities. I travel a lot and was very impressed with this hotel!
