Wonderful experience all around!
Pros:

Upon check-in, Steven at valet was incredible and greeted our daughter in a professional magical way! He performed magic tricks, made her a balloon dog, and asked if she could have candy first by spelling it. Top notch in every way!

Next, check-in was very easy and they hauled our bags at valet while we waited for our room to be ready and went to the zoo. When we got back and got up to her room, we found everything to me and wonderful condition. The linens were great, the space was large. We went down to the reception, where I had a glass of wine and my daughter had popcorn. Everyone was so nice and they had music playing! From there, we had dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel, which was also completely ! After that, we went to the swimming pool and hot tubs which are saltwater based with chlorine to manage cleanliness. That was also an excellent experience! We had a great night of sleep and free breakfast before departing. The breakfast was also so great, and we tipped the waiter staff as there were so many of them going around making sure everything was kept wonderful!

We definitely plan to stay here again!

Everything except the location

Cons:

Location. It is obvious they are trying to clean up the area, however, it was scary when the sun started to set. Woman on the corner laying on the ground screaming, next the street, police cars and on the other corner, ambulance picking someone up. Plus, it smelled like urine every where we walked.

Vintage location very cool
Pros:

We love the vintage feel of it in the history was really exciting to see.

Cons:

When we first entered our hallway, we could smell marijuana. We also smelt it in our room. Also, there was someone else’s dirty sock under my pillow when I woke up the next morning that was not my sock that was pretty gross.

Great for families
Pros:

We had the best time. We came for spring break and stayed downtown for a few days. The valet attendants , Steven and mark, made our day. Made our girls balloon animals and did magic tricks while we waited for our vehicle.
