Stay away.

The distance from my daughter’s Air B&B.

Cons:

This place is old and outdated in need of remodeling. I wish I had taken photos to post. Thankfully we stayed here only one night.

I had an accessible room. This room had a very strong smell of urine. I’m sure it was due to the very old carpet. The mattress is old and uncomfortable. The door does not close completely, leaving a small gap at bottom were bugs can crawl through. Although the shower was a walk in, I had to get dressed again and call reception for help with the faucet. No one would pick up the phone. Finally I sent my husband to get help while I continued trying the phone.
When the the phone was finally picked up, I explained who I was and gave my room number. He told me, “ Yes I know, a lovely old man gave me an earful. I’ve been busy checking people in. I am the only one here. I’ll be there. “

I know he used the word lovely but old man is not appropriate to describe a guest. He should have picked up the phone and say “hold please”, at least I would have known that someone was there. I would not object to being placed on hold after my call was acknowledged.

The shower faucet was extremely difficult to pull. It felt as if the whole wall would break as I tried to pull it open. Finally after waiting for this idiot to come, he said I had to wiggle it gently but firmly placing one hand on the wall while wiggling and pulling on the knob.

Are you kidding me?

I said then you should write some instructions on the wall on how to open the faucet. As far as I’m concern this shower is in violation of the code which makes it accessible. I have good strength on my arms and I couldn’t do it without the fear of breaking the whole wall.
Then he didn’t even apologize for the trouble I was having.

If you are looking for the breakfast buffet, think again. Bad coffee and dry toast. No thank you.

I will not recommend this location at all.
It is rated 3 stars; By my experience they get 1 star.
