Mi experiencia en el NH Hotel Nacional fue, sin exagerar, profundamente decepcionante, hasta un punto que supera cualquier estancia previa que haya tenido. Habiendo viajado y alojado en decenas de hoteles de distintas categorías, puedo afirmar con total seguridad que este ha sido, con diferencia, el peor en relación calidad-precio.
Para empezar, el colchón estaba en un estado lamentable: desgastado, incómodo y completamente inadecuado para un descanso mínimo. Las almohadas eran igual de decepcionantes, sin ningún tipo de soporte, dando la sensación de que no han sido reemplazadas en años.
La situación en el baño era inaceptable. El desagüe de la ducha no funcionaba correctamente, lo que provocaba que el agua se acumulara, generando no solo incomodidad, sino también una clara falta de higiene.
La iluminación de la habitación era insuficiente y mal diseñada: o demasiado tenue o colocada en puntos que no sirven para ninguna necesidad práctica, haciendo incluso las actividades más simples desagradables.
Sinceramente, resulta inconcebible que un hotel con este nivel de precios ofrezca una calidad tan baja. No se trata simplemente de una experiencia mediocre, sino de un fracaso total a la hora de cumplir incluso con las expectativas más básicas de hospitalidad.
No lo recomendaría a nadie y, sin duda, no volvería a elegirlo.

Ubicación y restaurant excepcional!!
Pros:

Ubicación, cercanía de la estación de trenes, parque del retiro al lado! El restaurante bien atendido por Borja y Carlos! Comida exquisita

Cons:

Los precios de la lavandería son extremadamente caros! Tal vez ahí hay espacio para mejorar. No digo que no tengan utilidades por este ítem, pero realmente son altísimos!

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

The NH Madrid Nacional exceeded our expectations. It was our first trip to Spain and landing here after a very long travel day was such a relief. The staff was kind and helpful with questions. There was fresh water with fruit in the lobby for thirsty travelers and it was delicious. Our room was clean, everything placed perfectly. The buffet breakfast was worth every Euro. We'd never experienced a hotel breakfast so beautifully done. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Madrid!
