Cozy stay close to everything you need
Pros:

I stayed in couple lodges in Talkeetna and this one is the best. Very clean, very cozy rooms, the location is central and very close to the Main Street with restaurants, shops.

Cute town, easy access to downtown. Friendly staff.
Pros:

Located within walking distance of town. Beautiful grounds, on the river. The rooms were clean. Staff was all very pleasant, and accommodating. Also, they provided shuttle from train depot.

Cons:

Room and Bathroom was small. Beds and pullow were not very comfortable, but not so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep. Think the room we had was a good value for the cost. I would do a little more research before booking the room I did.

Un bon marché et une équipe amicale
Pros:

Le lit était exceptionnellement confortable. Le placement était calme et tout le monde a bien reposé. On était près d’un parc, quand il fait beau, on peut voir le Mont Denali.

If I went to Talkeetna again, this is the only place I would stay.
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff, beautiful grounds, on the river, walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, clean well-appointed room, fan and heater in my room, good fridge too. Talkeena Inn has a nice pub that’s open every night,

Cons:

No microwave in our room, but when we checked in they said we could use the one in the office, or if the office was closed, use the pub’s.
Older building very well maintained, but not as soundproof as newer buildings. The clientele, though, was there to see Alaska - not to party, so noise at night was not a problem.
How noisy was it? You could hear movement and doors closing, but you rarely hear voices.
Also, you will hear some airplanes, and the train whistle (the train is on the opposite side of town), but you will have this noise anywhere in Talkeetna, and it comes to a halt at night.

Friendly and comfortable place near downtown and River.
Pros:

Great location near Main Street and riverfront, wonderful outdoor space with Adirondack chairs. Staff is friendly and welcoming, with free hot coffee in the morning.

Cons:

Rooms are dated, and bathroom smelled musty. No shampoo or conditioner provided.
