Met our expectations for a simple stay.

over all a good stay this was my first time in Silver City and would use this lodging again.
Pros:

Over All The Location was very good , clean every thing worked all except one thing the Bath tub drain was very slow draining possibly a lot of hair trapped in the drain it should be taken care of the tub filled up to 1/3 full after my shower as well as the shower head needed cleaning or replacement it sprayed water every where on certain settings. All else was very good and no problems.

Cons:

The items mentioned above needed repair inspection.

Investment and modernization

Cons:

The hotel is so old that I think my great-great-grandparents spent their honeymoon there. I think they should invest in modernizing it; we paid $250 a night for a hotel that is so old and far from modern.

AWESOME
Pros:

Breakfast was AWESOME...fruit omelets beacon potatoes waffles cereal pastries juice coffee.
Rooms clean and odorless from previous use. Pool and spa area clean and inviting. Definitely will promote this hotel for staying in the Silver City area.

Cons:

Showers were dirty, no water pressure, sign an extra sheet of paper to not smoke in the room and everything in the room smells like smoke. Elevator works when it wants to. Vending machines are cash only and there’s no ATM

Pros:

my kids liked the swimming pool.

Cons:

Found one cockroach in our room and bed sheets had red stain on it.
Recommend to really clean rooms.

Pros:

Good location, most of the staff were friendly, clean pool area, clean room. We were able to still get breakfast even though we showed up right before 9:00.

Cons:

Roaches on stairs, no towels on our last night, uncomfortable beds. Room had patio right outside window so people could see in if curtains were not closed and we had difficulty sleeping due to them talking loudly and playing loud music at night. Overall experience wasn't bad, we just didnt think it was worth the high price.
