After staying at many different hotels in palo alto, crown plaza has become my favorite. The staff here treat me always treats me very well,every time I stay there. I work construction and work alot at stanford hospital and LPCH.when we have shut downs I stay at crown plaza .when I check in its after working 12 hours in my work clothes and unlike the other hotels in the area I get treated with respect and have received upgrades and great rooms.unlke the others

Considering the price of around $360 USD per night, I was very disappointed that the hotel also charged an additional $22 per night for parking.
The breakfast schedule shown on Booking.com was not accurate for the weekend, which caused additional inconvenience.
The biggest issue was getting an invoice. The hotel told me they could not provide an invoice because the reservation was made through Booking.com and that they only provide invoices for direct bookings. However, Booking.com states that guests should contact the property to receive an invoice. I explained this to the hotel staff, but they were not helpful and did not make any real effort to resolve the situation.
For a hotel in this price range, I expected much better customer service and clearer communication.

The Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel is located in the Heart of Silicon Valley. This Hotel has a variety of Amenities--24 hr Fitness Center (with a Dry Sauna), a full functioning restaurant that serves Breakfast (Buffet), Lunch, and Dinner, and even has a full functioning bar! The property offers overnight Parking and there is a large Pool (11ft deep) and a Jacuzzi. This Hotel is within 5 miles of downtown Palo Alto , near the Stanford Shopping Center, Stanford University, and the Stanford Hospital. This hotel offers over 27,000 sq feet of meeting space ideal for businesses, weddings, bat mitzvahs, birthdays, anniversaries, and fundraisers. It is the ideal location for the business traveler as well as for families looking for a weekend getaway or mini-Vacation...!
The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Breakfast great in variety and quality; we lingered in conversation.
The dining room and menu were unappealing for dinner.
The rooms were clean, the landscaping and parking were well maintained. Ron at the front desk was very helpful with my check in. The beds were wonderfully comfortable.
My room did not have a microwave and the hot tub was broken.
