A relaxing stay in the heart of the US capital.
Pros:

The room was very spacious, comfortable, well-designed and well-equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly (without exception). The hotel's location is excellent, being really near cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, as well as the subway, Capitol Hill and the National Mall.

Cons:

The restaurant was undergoing renovation, so it was unavailable during our stay. If I wanted a cooked breakfast (which only happened once, to be fair), I had to go out. However, the complimentary food at the breakfast bar was more than adequate, and there were various food outlets mere minutes from the hotel, which meant it wasn't really a problem.

Wish I could have stayed longer!
Pros:

FIrst and foremost, the room was very clean and comfortable. A great place to rest and prepare for the day. But the staff!!!! Wonderful service from check in to check out. Happy hour refreshing local drinks, extra bottles of water, offers to help with luggage and ease of check in check out. They were just so nice and helpful. I will be back!

Cons:

Nothing to say here. I travel a lot and this was one of my favorites!

Zimmerausstattung sehr gut, sogar mit Regenschirm

Cons:

Frühstücksbuffet ist etwas klein. Der Kaffee war sehr gut auch das Gebäck aber keine richtigen Sitzgelegenheiten und nur Gebäck, Joghurt und Obst.

There appear to be other better value hotels in the area.
Pros:

Situated near the Capitol and the Union Station. Staff members were nice. Benjamin was awesome!

Cons:

- Room not thoroughly vacuumed. Found a used cup, and pretzel behind the night stand and some dental floss beneath the drawer (see photos). This was reported to customer service via text but not handled. I had housekeeping clean the room but wasn’t remediated. They did fold the sheets and replaced the towels.
- Wide gap in bathroom door
- Bed bugs
- Old condo smell in the hallway
