Great stay
Pros:

Q mi reserva era para una habitación determinada por la cual reservé y pagué el precio y la comodidad a través dé Booking y cuando llegamos nos avisan q esta habitación no están amas disponible q nos acomodaban en otra con cama matrimonial y mi reserva era cama dobles en ningún momento hablaba q podía estar sujeto a disponibilidad
Como era una noche acepte pero no es lo q corresponde
El hotel es excelente así como su personal eso quiero dejarlo bien asentado !

Broken heat, understaffed front desk, and a very poor first-night experience
Pros:

We had a very disappointing experience at Kimpton George Hotel. On our first night, we arrived around 8 pm and the front desk already seemed badly understaffed. There were around a dozen people waiting, and for about 10 minutes no one was properly attending the desk. After we finally got to our rooms, things got worse. Calls to the front desk for basic items like towels and body wash kept going unanswered, so we had to go downstairs in person. We also asked if there was a microwave to heat some takeaway food, and instead of having a normal guest-use area, staff had to bring one out from storage, which felt very inconvenient and disorganised.

The most serious issue was that both rooms assigned to our family had broken heat. One room’s HVAC turned on but never produced warm air, and the other room’s unit would not turn on at all. Engineering came multiple times, but one room had to be changed after we had already unpacked, and the other could not be fixed that night with no suitable replacement room available for the family staying there. That meant the elderly and the children were left in a cold room late into the night and had trouble sleeping. We ended up spending about three hours of our first night dealing with front desk delays, engineering visits, and room changes instead of resting. For a hotel in Washington, D.C. charging these rates, the level of maintenance and service was far below what should reasonably be expected.

Best location for architecture, museums w/ family vacation
Pros:

Hotel location Can not be beat. All of our stops were a short walk or a quick scooter ride away.
The hotel staff was incrdibly helpful . Salomon and all of the day staff and also the night staff were always ready to help.
