Nice hotel but too far out of town. (Our mistake)! 9ks by infrequent and overcrowded buses to Paphos Town. Having not been to the area before we had thought we would be in Paphos itself. As I said , our mistake. Taxis expensive and Ubers impossible.
Bedroom was good although water in shower was very temperamental: scalding one minute and cold the next. Also we were given rooms over the entrance and were woken by coaches parking outside with their engines running several mornings whilst a regular golf party was collected.
Food in restaurant was excellent for most of us, but having checked with the hotel before booking that vegans were catered for, there was very little vegan food. Even salads had ham or little prawns in. Delicious if you can eat it. My son asked to see the chef one night for vegan options and was shown food containing eggs, or cheese or milk. So I think the understanding of vegan may be a training issue. On the plus side the chef did offer to cook him noodles one night which he said were delicious, but that was one out of many. Most nights he struggled to find vegan friendly stuff and lived on chips and bread and bean salads.
Pool area nice and no trouble finding a sun bed. Pool lovely. Nice terraced area outside main bar.
Drinks on the all inclusive were generous and very strong. The waiters laughed at me when asking for very small gin and tonic and demonstrating with my fingers. Otherwise the glass was three quarters gin.
We noticed that many guests seemed to be regulars and the maitre d' could be quite fawning with them, but quite indifferent with everyone else. The English waitress was extremely helpful and went out of her way. Most staff were very pleasant and friendly except for the girl on the pool bar who was gruff and grumpy always.
Overall I have given 4/5 as some aspects were excellent, but let down by the items listed above.
Definitely a 4 star hotel. Spotlessly clean, smiley attentative staff who are a great asset to the hotel! Food excellent, restaurant is well run by the restaurant managers who ensure that you receive impeccable hospitality. Rooms are modern with free WiFi and free use of your room safe, and a fridge! I would say it is more suited to Adults who like a quiet time away, therefore I will be returning in 2026!
We just returned from a weeks stay at the Queens Bay. This hotel was our family favourite over 15-20 yrs ago, relatives stayed regularly back then. We have had special occasion meals here spent with family. We came to stay for the first time last week. Since we were last here the hotel has been renovated to a modern standard and it looks fabulous. We stayed on an all inclusive basis. Our room was one of the standard rooms over looking the car park. We found the room to be of a good standard. Nice decor and a superking size bed. We found the bed firm which we like and so had good nights sleep. The car park was of no noise concern whatsoever. Water pressure for bath and shower were very good.
The hotel facilities were good. The bars were well stocked and staff were available to serve constantly and always very polite. There are many options on where to relax in the evenings, in foyer bar area, outside on the upper terrace or downstairs in dining area where you can be seated inside or outside. Staying on all inclusive basis we found the food to be of a very good standard. Plenty of choice for all meals. Plenty of fresh produce and very good international dishes with theme dinners being a different culture/continent every evening. Having stayed all inclusive and half board in hotels in Paphos I can honestly say the chef and restaurant staff produce excellent food. Again restaurant staff and servers were very attentive and polite.
The pool was still in full use in November is of a good size. I would say they need advertise the Spa services more, maybe in the reception area. I discovered it by accident and booked a few treatments and found the therapist excellent, she provided a very professional service and I’ll definitely book her again when I return next year. Yes I’ve rebooked for next year as I really enjoyed my stay here.
My first visit to this hotel. I knew of its location from previous visits to the area. The hotel is airy, very clean, not too large, and a friendly welcome and throughout by the staff.
Great location with or without a hire car. The hotel is a few minutes walking distance from the main Coral Bay to Paphos road, so easy bus access.
My plan was a reasonably priced holiday to rest and relax and enjoy the sunshine. Task completed successfully.
The food is buffet style. The food was excellent. Themed nights for food style. I've been to hotels where it hasn't been possible to make a decent meal from choices - not here though.
Restaurant staff were top notch, very attentive and pleased to help you.
I wouldn't hesitate to return to this fab hotel.
Well the holiday wasn’t as planned as my little girl had a nasty flare up of a long term health condition but couldn’t fault the hotel itself & we did our best to enjoy the holiday as much as possible despite the circumstances. The hotel was spotless clean and well laid out. The pool area with the sunset views are stunning but what truly made it was the staff. We made some lovely friends along the way. There was a good mix of solos/couples & families at the hotel. Always sunbeds available and pool never too busy.
We had to cancel a booked trip due to my daughter being poorly and the hotel staff rang through and managed to get our money back, so really appreciated their help.
All the staff were so friendly and took extra special care of my daughter and always checked in with how she was doing and whether there was anything they could do to help. A extra special thanks to Donna, Maggie & Ivan, you are amazing!!
Looking forward to coming back next year (which hopefully will be less eventful)
Very friendly staff made to feel very welcome.
Lovely clean hotel, rooms very nice we had a room with our own sun lounges next to the pool which was lush.
Food was very nice had a different cuisine every night.
The pool entertainment was good the guy running the entertainment had a brill personality and made all guests feel welcome.
Excellent holiday at the Queens Bay Hotel.
Great hospitality was delivered by all of the team at the hotel. Lovely variety of food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is very well maintained and cleaned throughout the building, pool area, and grounds.
Very good value, especially when compared with some of the other Paphos large hotels.
Beautiful location
Rooms spotless as was all of the hotel areas
Food not very hot which was a shame as it was lovely food (would have been perfect with abit more care taken with the temperature)
Some members of staff need to have a lesson in smiling and dealing with guests which was a real put off when going to the bar in the day and to be met by a very angry looking face
The evening entertainment 5 of the nights was below average which affected the atmosphere
Would I go back? No due to the negatives that I found which is a shame as it’s a lovely hotel with the most beautiful view
JD in the entertainment team has been fantastic! Really nice and personal approach! Premium cocktails lovely and food has been great! A bit repetitive but by far the best all-inclusive food I've had! All incluve drinks haven't been the best but the food is worth it so evens it out! Enjoyed our stay and would return!
Ashley, Rumba, rossi, nelly and andreas also been fantastic on the bar!
Stayed here for our anniversary, arrived tona card and bottle of champagne. Great hotel, great food, great staff. Will definitely be back, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Special mention to Rumba, Nelly, JD, Andreas but all the staff were tremendous.
I am a wedding planner in Paphos and I was asked to hold a Haldi Ceremony at the beautiful Queen's Bay Hotel for a client. I visited the manager George and his wonderful secretary a few months ago to ask if this was permitted and could they help me. They were both so professional and accommodating and really went above and beyond to make it perfect. There were many emails and visits to plan the most perfect ceremony for my couple. The staff at the hotel are incredibly helpful and work very hard, anything I asked for was taken care of straight away. The specially named cocktails were perfect, the food was outstanding, the photographer, videographer, DJ and myself were all looked after and offered food and beverages. My couple were more than happy with everything and told me how happy they were and that their guests thought it was all perfect. We even had guests that had travelled from Australia. A massive thankyou to George the manager, Domna the wonderful secretary and all the fabulous staff for making my couple's Haldi Ceremony perfect x
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 - another amazing stay at Queens Bay Hotel!!
This was my second stay at Queens Bay Hotel this year, and once again, it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff are so welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the whole hotel has such a lovely vibe.
A special mention goes to JD, the entertainment guy, he’s brilliant! He keeps everyone smiling with pool activities and great music during the day, and in the evenings he turns into the DJ in the lobby, creating a fun, lively atmosphere for dancing and bingo. He really brings so much energy and fun to the hotel!
Also, a big thank you to Mr George, the hotel manager, who is so lovely and professional. He always makes you feel valued and ensures everything runs smoothly.
I can’t recommend Queens Bay Hotel enough! Beautiful location, wonderful staff, and an all around amazing experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
This is our second stay and won’t be our last! Everything about this hotel is top notch. The staff really stand out. They are polite, friendly and super helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean I thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the well kept pool. The food is Devine a great choice with themed evening dinners. Many guests return year after year which shows how good this place is. The entertainment is low key but suits the audience as the majority of guests are over 50. We have been treated like family by all the staff and can’t wait to come back again. If you are reading this review just book the holiday you will not be disappointed
One of the best hotels we have stayed at in Cyprus. The staff were very accommodating and could not do enough for us.The food was good with a good selection of hot and salads. Desserts were out of this world. Omelettes were great you said what you wanted in it cooked to ordered. Plenty of choices for breakfast hot or cold. That good a time already booked for next June. I am not an easy person to please as I am a ex-chef.
Had the best holiday at Queens Bay Hotel Paphos! The food was delicious every day, and the staff were so kind and full of energy. The entertainment team were excellent — always keeping everyone smiling with pool games, water gym, darts, and archery (which I was pretty good at too!).
Such a fun and relaxing place with great vibes all around — can’t wait to come back!
Queens Bay Hotel is such a lovely place to stay — the atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. You can tell how special it is when you see so many regular guests who come back year after year, and it’s easy to understand why.
The staff and management do an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly, always friendly and professional. There’s so much to enjoy during the day with great activities and fun games that bring everyone together.
Beautiful views, great food, and a team that truly cares — Queens Bay Hotel never disappoints
Queens Bay Hotel is a real gem in Paphos. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the friendly atmosphere and the great energy around the place. The management clearly take pride in how well everything runs — you can see their effort in every detail, from the cleanliness to the organisation of daily activities.
A big mention goes to the entertainment guy, who keeps everyone laughing and involved with pool game, evening shows. He really brings life to the hotel and makes the stay unforgettable.
The food is always tasty with plenty of choice, and the staff are kind, professional, and always smiling. Everything together makes Queens Bay Hotel one of those places you just want to come back to again and again.
We have stayed at Queens Bay Hotel Paphos and honestly everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. The entertainment team were amazing and made every evening and day fun and full of good vibes.
The food was delicious with lots of variety every day, and the view from the hotel is just stunning — especially during sunset. The whole place feels peaceful, clean, and very well looked after.
It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy your holiday in Paphos. We can’t wait to come back — highly recommended!
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the last 2 weeks in September 2025. Booked the holiday with Jet2 and was very disappointed with the room that we were allocated. Just a few yards away from the staff quarters and car park was the view from our balcony window.
The beach is not a beach but a pile of rocks in the sea,and a few sunbeds with umbrellas.
The pool is ok but nothing special.
The food is of a good variety with a fixed menu every week, lunch seems to be leftovers from the night before rehashed but we didn’t bother and are out every lunchtime.
Staff were very friendly and smiley ,rooms cleaned daily with clean towels and free hand wash, body wash and shampoo.
The entertainment was poor with bingo being the highlight for many of the pensioners.
Buses (615) go from the top of the hill on the main road to Coral Bay beach ( nice and sandy ) or the other way towards Paphos. Change at the terminal on to a 611 for the harbour/castle/ archaeological museum or 618 inti old Paphos town.
A 12 hour coach trip to Famagusta and the ghost town is well worth going on and we highly recommend it.
Would we go again? Cyprus yes but not Paphos.
Just back from 10 days here , Beautiful hotel very clean, amazing views of the sunsets.
The pool area and the little bay in the sea are lovely .
Staff very nice the waiting staff really work hard .
The only downside to this hotel is the food for the price you pay to stay at this hotel the food is very repetitive, there are different theme nights but maybe one or two of the foods change and at best its all Luke warm.
I don’t like to give negative reviews i would go back here but i would go self catering or bed and breakfast .
