A pleasant stay at Queens Bay Hotel in Paphos, though the location is a bit far from the center.
Pros:

The staff was good and welcoming, and the food was good as well.

Cons:

The food could be more varied. Also, the hotel is located far from the city center, and the buses were not always on time. It is recommended to buy a 24-hour daily bus pass for €6 (make sure to keep the ticket safe). You can pay when boarding the bus, and using Google Maps is very helpful for getting around Paphos.

Definitely not a 4-star standard
Pros:

The one positive thing we can say is that the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They made an effort to improve our stay and even offered us a complimentary dinner to compensate for some of the issues, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, there were several issues that, in our opinion, do not reflect the standard you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Our room had a strong smell of mould, there were stains on the bed, and the towels were very old. The bathroom was very small and there was no toilet brush. We also had no shower gel when we arrived, and there were no slippers or the usual toiletries you would expect in a 4-star hotel.

The gym also had a very strong smell of mould, which made it unpleasant to use.

Although the hotel is advertised as beachfront, we were surprised to find that if you are not staying on an all-inclusive package, you have to pay to use the sunbeds in the area close to the sea. This was not what we expected based on how the hotel is advertised.

The pool area is quite small, with the
sunbeds positioned very close together, making it feel crowded and uncomfortable. The rooms are also not soundproof at all, and we could clearly hear people talking in the neighbouring room.

The location is another downside, as there are no proper restaurants or shops nearby.

The breakfast was disappointing, with limited options and food that was not particularly tasty. Dinner, however, was good.

We also found it strange that there was no information card in the room with basic details such as the reception telephone number or an emergency number.

Overall, we feel that the photos online do not accurately represent the reality of the hotel. Considering the price and the standard advertised, we felt the experience was a clear rip-off and not what we expected from a 4-star property.

Unfortunately, despite the staff’s efforts, the problems we experienced throughout our stay made the holiday feel disappointing overall.

Widok z hotelu jest naprawdę niesamowity i zdecydowanie robi wrażenie! Pokoje były codziennie sprzątane i bardzo zadbane, a personel niezwykle miły, pomocny i zawsze uśmiechnięty. Pobyt wspominamy bardzo dobrze i z czystym sumieniem możemy polecić to miejsce. Chętnie wrócimy!

Cons:

Dostęp do wody pitnej mógłby być lepiej oznaczony. Woda była dostępna na każdym piętrze, jednak znajdowała się w pomieszczeniu gospodarczym dla personelu sprzątającego, przez co nie każdy gość wiedział, że można z niej korzystać. Warto byłoby umieścić taką informację w bardziej widocznym miejscu.

Pros:

We had a fantastic Seaview that was out of this world. Amazing for watching the sunset.
The hotel is lovely.

Cons:

It is not as central or close to restaurants/ bars as I'd prefer. However, there was a good bus close by.
The room felt a little dated.

Very nice beach resort
Pros:

Good breakfast. Great location near Paphos town. Wonderful beach directly accessible from the hotel. Spectacular sunset views. Small and well equipped gym. Fun entertainment in the evenings.

Cons:

There was some drainage smell coming in the bathroom.

Without a doubt we will be back. Hopefully for a longer stay. 10/10
Pros:

Staff went above and beyond for us. My husband was suffering from a back injury which meant we had to stay in the hotel for the day. We upgraded to All Inclusive. It was extremely reasonable and offered excellent value. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all outstanding. Special thanks goes to Agnieszka on reception. She understood exactly what our predicament was and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly
