I loved the amazing staff! So friendly and always trying their best to make everyone happy.
The quirky additions that other hotels don't do such as free popsicles, drinks, snacks and laundry.

Cons:

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and sleeping in the lounge meant that when there were noisy people in the pool during the night I was kept awake. The beds in the bedroom were lovely, its just unfortunate for the poor person sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge.

Loved every second
Pros:

The staff were amazing, pool was great, breakfast was lovely, free snacks, free ice cream and unlimited soft drinks were great. Room was clean and very spacious. Lovely evenings spent by the pool watching a movie. Great location, walkable to walk of fame, but out of the way so it’s quiet.

Magic Castle - einfach zauberhaft

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem wunderbaren Hotel und haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Wunderbarer Service, kostenlos Eis, Getränke und Süßigkeiten, sehr nettes Personal, große (wenn auch alte) Zimmer und viel Flair!!!! Und dazu in toller Lage direkt am Walk of Fame. Our family loves the Magic Castle Hotel!!
Pros:

We honestly loved the property. It felt very homey. My kids loved it. We loved the amenities. Having free laundry services was amazing. We just overall loved our stay!

Cons:

The floors in the room need redone pretty badly. Other then that we loved the property.

On reviendra c’est sûr !!!!!!!!!…mais on se renseignera avant sur l’éventuelle présence de groupes.

L’emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel, les services proposés (laverie gratuite, la machine à café, à eau/soda, la machine à glace), la piscine ouverte 24/24, l’impression d’être à la maison

Nous sommes malheureusement tombé cette année (c’est la 1ere fois que ça nous arrive), en même temps qu’un festival de masterclass de danse (le L.A dance 2026, méfiance pour les prochaines années)…et 2 troupes (oserais-je dire « armée » )de danseuses avec tout leur entourage, chaperons, professeurs et autres parents, au bas mots 30 jeunes filles et presque autant d’ »adultes » ont envahis les lieux. Adieu accès à la piscine (8 transats et 4 chaises squattés du matin au soir. tandis que la piscine était littéralement remplis d’adolescent(e)s hurlants et plongeant à qui mieux mieux sous les vivas de leurs responsables ). adieu quiétude et repos…nous n’étions même pas tranquille dans notre chambre, située au dessus de la machine à glaçons. Je pense que cela a été leur jouet préféré pendant les 8 jours (huit!!!!😭😭) de leur séjour car la dite machine a distribué des glaçons sans discontinuer. Bref, Kevin le manager (que je remercie encore pour sa gentillesse et sa compréhension) a tout fait pour arrondir les angles. Mais face à cette armée, il n’y avait plus guerre de place pour les autres clients. En un mot comme en 100, si vous réservez l’été dans cette hôtel, checkez avant les date du fameux festival. Car oui, ces troupes de danseuses viennent tous les ans. Séjour gâché donc, car sur 12 jours, nous n’avons pu profiter que des 3 premiers et du dernier… nous étions tristes et déçus car nous avions tellement aimé nos précédentes visites que nous pensions avoir gardé le meilleur pour la fin. Néanmoins encore merci à Kevin et à ses collaborateurs, qui étaient victimes autant que nous de cette situation.

Happy kids, happy parents
Pros:

Great location in Hollywood and one of the few hotels where you still receive a genuinely warm and personal welcome.

This hotel is a perfect example of how outstanding service can make all the difference. For our children, this was their favourite hotel of the entire trip. They spent hours in the pool, enjoyed the complimentary drinks, soft serve ice cream and snacks, and absolutely loved calling the famous red Popsicle Hotline by the pool, where someone personally delivered ice pops within minutes. To our children, this was the real Magic Castle, even more magical than the one at Disneyland 😉 🏰

The rooms are a little dated, but they were very clean, which is what mattered most to us. We also really appreciated the complimentary laundry service. You simply put your clothes in a laundry bag, hand it in, and by the evening everything is washed, dried and neatly folded. As a family on a long road trip, this was incredibly convenient.

The combination of thoughtful extras, exceptional hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere made this one of the most memorable hotels of our vacation. We would happily stay here again

Cons:

The rooms are a little dated, but they were clean, which is what mattered most to us.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the breakfast. The selection is fairly simple and limited. However, since it is complimentary, it was absolutely fine for us and a convenient way to start the day.

Un très bon hôtel pour un séjour en famille et un super emplacement
Pros:

Le personnel super agréable et serviable , les glaces à volonté et les snacks , la piscine chaude , le service pour laver votre linge gratuitement.

Cons:

Je pense qu’un petit rafraîchissement surtout au niveau des douches et literies canapés lits serait vraiment un plus . Le petit déjeuner trop petit et pas variés mais bon pas de supplément alors c’est à voir ..
