One of our favourite places to stay in London
Pros:

Our second stay, last time in an executive studio, this time in a classic for 2 nights. Both are excellent. The main difference is no breakfast bar, mini sofa or coffee maker in the classic, otherwise decor is the same.

The studios have been newly renovated within the past 2 years, are well designed and still in excellent condition. It felt new still and was spotlessly clean - the kitchenette sink shone!

I liked that there was a good entrance corridor in the classic studio with hooks to hang coats and a good wardrobe with drawers inside and safe. The bathroom was great, not big but perfectly acceptable and shower was spacious. The kitchenette was very good with 2 ring stove top, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Only 2 of everything but acceptable and you could cook a small meal in the pans provided. Liked that there was an initial supply of tea/instant coffee and milk.

The staff on reception were very helpful and welcoming. The communal areas are very nice with sofas and tables. The complimentary coffee machine is a nice offering.

The location is excellent - around corner from Holborn station- just a few minutes by tube from Kings Cross, or a bus ride. There is a little Waitrose over the road, Waterstones, cafe, Pizza Express live etc. 10 minute walk to Covent Garden. 20 min walk to Trafalgar Square or 10 minutes on bus.

Definitely our go to place for London trips, along with another apartment hotel which is close by.

Cons:

The only slight negative was that the bedding and pillows could have been better quality, particularly if you are paying high season rates. The sheets felt slightly rough. That said, we slept well enough.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

Room was spacious and so was the bathroom, Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge and 2 ring hob. We were in room 118 and the door didn't open fully as there was a column in the way, once in the room it was lovely. Free coffe/ tea etc in the room and from machines in the reception and lounge areas

Cons:

No water in room, had an empty glass bottle you could take to reception or the lounge to fill up with filtered water. would be nice if it was full on arrival.

Perfect for our city break. Would come again.
Pros:

Location was great for shopping and exploring the city. Room was clean, modern and having the kitchen facility was a bonus. Complementary coffee also appreciated.

Cons:

Room was not serviced during pur two night stay. Perhaps woukd have been done on request - I didn’t ask. As we were only there for 2 nights and were out most of the day it didn’t matter but had we been there longer I woukd have appreciated a service.

Cons:

Das es keine Zimmerreinigung gibt ( oder nur gegen Aufpreis ) sollte klarer kommuniziert werden. Küchenausstattung könnte noch besser sein.

Geweldig hotel. Prima locatie, makkelijk bereikbaar. Personeel zeer prettig en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooi ingericht.

The breakfast. It was mainly a bunch of packages from a supermarket. Horrible. I paid £16 and I wouldn’t have paid £8 for it.

Good location and comfortable
Pros:

Very central location, comfortable bed with plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchenette was really helpful to have.

Cons:

Very slow service checking in. The receptionist was held up by someone asking lots of questions however she told us to take a seat while we waited and then proceeded to check in everyone that joined the queue after us while we sat waiting. Eventually I had to stand back in the queue. She was apologetic and offered us a complimentary breakfast however I would like to point out that a 20 mins wait was unacceptable. We also did not get our room cleaned once in the 3 days that we were there.
