Comfortable bed, nice layout to room, wonderful water pressure and temperature, great breakfast options, clean hotel and room, employees were super helpful and friendly.
Doors do little to keep sound from the hallway out. But it was quiet after 10pm.
There are a lot of good things about this hotel, clean, comfortable room, and quiet too. Staff was very nice, great location, good restaurants nearby. A few negatives, the bathroom shower/toilet combo was TIGHT! We are not large people and we had to squeeze past the toilet to get the door shut! The room was plenty big enough that moving the wall out 2 feet would make a big difference! The other negative was the breakfast, it was skimpy. 3 kinds of cereal, runny scrambled eggs, half cold sausage, a pot of oatmeal, a few breads, the only thing that saved it was the ability to make a fresh waffle. There is not a lot of seating space to eat either. People were sitting in the lobby eating.
This hotel has been giving me the runaround for weeks now. I arrived for my reservation (that I had booked months in advance) and was informed they had overbooked and I was going to have to stay elsewhere. The "only" option was a rundown hotel next door with horrible reviews (that included mold, mildew and odor). I refused - as a loyal Hyatt member I wanted comparable accommodations. Additionally, I was only 2 nights away from my next tier of Hyatt rewards status, so missing this night in turn affects my status. I have been told for 2 weeks now that I would be receiving a 1 night credit on my account for the missed night. I was also told I would be refunded the points I had used to book the room. Now, Hyatt customer service has given me points, but this specific hotel has NOT refunded me the points nor have they posted a 1 night credit to my account. I have reached out 6 times and when Hyatt contacts the hotel the manager is always conveniently "not in." I currently have an open case file regarding this with Hyatt and will continue to fight this. Wonder if a manager will actually notice this?
Convenient to get to. Great front desk staff. Breakfast staff was also very friendly and efficient. My breakfast was excellent. I've stayed at Hyatt Place before, so I knew what to expect. But everything was great. Shower had very good water pressure and endless hot water.
No towels for the pool and AC unit was very close to the bed. It was hard to get in on that side.

Bathroom very small and not conducive for elderly needs. Tub slippery, difficult to get into the bathroom and close the door. No place to hang used towels.
Location and cleanliness
My husband and I often travel further than our closest major airport to fly out of Cincinnati due to more desirable flights, and regardless we almost always book a Park Sleep Fly package the night before our flight to make the travel experience less stressful.
Our recent trip was extra special since we were accompanying our daughter's family with our small grandchildren on their first flight and trip to Disney World. We were happy to stay at a Hyatt Place as we've had very good experiences with this brand and booked a pre-paid package with two adjoining king rooms so we could interact and help with the grandkids in the morning. We were driving down during intense winds, and due to some flying debris, our trip to Cincinnati took longer than planned, so I called the hotel to advise of our late arrival. The clerk mentioned one of our rooms had already been checked into, and I replied our daughter's family was still on the road alongside us so that was not possible. I thought it was a fluke. When we arrived, there was confusion at the front desk, and we had the discussion again about one party on our reservation having checked in. The manager on staff, Tonya, intervened and did some checking. Meanwhile, the girl I spoke to on the phone said they were overbooked. We waited nearly thirty minutes in the lobby with exhausted littles before we were assigned rooms. They were on separate floors as that's what was left. My husband and I did not get the king we selected and paid for in the package, so when my husband went back to the front desk to express his displeasure, Tonya at first said had we been loyalty members, she could have made other accommodations or compensations, but we were not. But then she went on to say given we booked two rooms, she could credit one room. Although we weren't sure how that would happen having booked a package through a third party, we appreciated her professional and gracious demeanor.
Other than an apology from the General Manager, Scott, following my husband's review, we have not heard from Hyatt Place nor have we seen the credit Tonya offered. We understand a reasonable period of time given the third party package and thar if her offer is not honored that at minimum we could receive a refund of the cost difference of the King we paid for and the first floor accommodations we were given.
Location was great central to the Creation Museum and Ark Experience.
Need better pillows
Very little staff. Pool was being recklessly used. Driver locked the keys in the van while it was running at the airport and couldn't figure out how to get back to the hotel. I secured us a ride with another shuttle driver but had to walk 20 minutes with luggage to get to the hotel. Got offered a bag of chips as compensation.
The room was just the right size and it was very clean
Almost got stuck in the elevator. We interacted with two different staff people and had an unacceptable interaction with both. They were rude and unfriendly
