Everything! It was beautiful! Very quiet! Perfdct!
Only thing was the bed in 209 was a little rough.
It should be made very clear that the parking is across the highway. It wasn't made clear. The room they put me in was pretty horrible - the place is obvious need of updates/repairs, and was tiny tiny. There was no heat. The streaming was crappy, buffering half the time. The poor new guy was nice but was too new to be of much help. The heat/fan remote battery was really low so you couldn't make out any of the details. I've heard the restaurant is nice, and the building on the exterior is so pretty. I would NEVER stay here again however.
That I only stayed one night. There was fast food a block away.
I Liked the Location it was perfect for me.
A lot could have been better, I have sent via the hotel survey all the issues I had with the room. I don't feel I'm a picky person, but a comfortable bed would been nice, something other than a portable A/C that was exhausting into the room would have been nice, something other than a metal chair to sit on would have been nice, a functional armoire would have been nice, a faucet on the sink not flopping around and difficult to use would have been nice. I am one that does not air my complaints to staff anywhere I stay as I feel nothing will be done anyway, I feel the staff here did their job of checking guest in and out beyond that, in my case, nothing more. The cost to stay here is in no way justified by amenities or the comfort of the room.
Everything that we needed was near by
Parking lot
Rooftop restaurant was fabulous. Great views & friendly attentive service. Tried a few different menu items - all were good and came out quickly and hot.
Our king room was super small &
smelled of a strong cleaning agent. Room and bathroom so tiny was comfortable stay. Had a long drive should’ve asked to be upgraded or changed rooms. Super disappointing. Front desk didn’t tell us about the “ hidden coffee” station off lobby. Found the coffee before we left by accident.
Location was A+. The lobby lounge was warm and inviting. Staff was friendly and always easy to find for questions about the town, dinner recommendations, etc.
The rooms are small. if you are used a lot of space or need space, then this charming historical building is not for you. If you want an intimate, cozy stay that has plenty of relaxing spot on property (just not in the room itself) then this won’t be a problem at all.
Great staff, loved the room!!!!
Room too small for price. facing street with bathroom window that didn’t close. Cars revving and loud music from cars. Cell phone charger did not work. Air conditioner super loud. Sink in room rather than bathroom. Last night my husband was bitten by fleas. Sewer smell from drain in bathroom.
A few things here and there that needed fixing. I saw cockroaches in the bathroom. A little shocking to say the least.
Love the proximity to the beach and the beautiful view
Beautiful location. I’ll be back
The staff were very kind and accommodating.
There was a cockroach greeting us in our room. And the bathroom mirror was a crackled mirror - more of a deco mirror not for the bathroom. Could not see to put your makeup on.
Hotel was very charming, great beach location, downfall was the rooftop bar, our margaritas we ordered were terrible, not sure what mix they used but it was not good. Great place to stay for couples, rooms very small not designed for children.
I stayed there in September, I got the rip curl room. Really a cool room, high ceilings and the king bed is a little bit high about 34" high. But very comfortable. Could use screens on the windows, and no USB port so bring a charger to plug in the wall
We love stay here due to its location.
