What a wonderful hotel!
Pros:

Travelled to Paris for a few days with my 12 year old daughter. We loved this hotel! I didn't want a generic type hotel, I wanted something a bit different and this fit the bill perfectly! Spotlessly clean, wonderful atmosphere, great value for money, lovely buffet breakfast and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had a twin room with a good sized bathroom with bath and shower, which was unexpected. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but there is coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water available in the breakfast room until midnight. The hotel is a comfortable walk to Opera/Palais Garnier and Galerie Lafyette but far enough away to be quiet after a days sightseeing. Small restaurants and supermarkets are all around so there is no problem finding meals or snacks on the doorstep.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for B&B facilities on the edge of the sights.

Location and Staff are the selling point!
Pros:

There were good points and bad points.

The hotel is in the perfect spot for exploring on foot. We got an Uber to the Eiffel Tower and it was £12. An Uber from Charles de Gaulle to the hotel was about £41 everything else we walked. The room is basic. No satellite TV so all French TV channels (not a huge problem but nice to have TV in the morning for news etc), no fridge and no kettle.

We stayed on the 5th floor and the room was clean and tidy and the bathroom although tiny was absolutely fine. The shower head could do with being replaced for sure. The room was cleaned every day.

The breakfast was basic and personally I don’t feel worth the 18 euros considering there are gorgeous places to eat within walking distance all hours of the day and night! We went down at 8ish everyday and there wasn’t bacon left once and it was never replaced. The food was tasty but basic. It’s a coffee machine for the coffee and it was ok!

The rooms have air con and in 35 degree heat that’s amazing. There is a lift thankfully as it’s a winding staircase!
I think the decor makes it look older than it is because it’s a retro kind of feel, this didn’t bother me it had character.

The location feels very safe and it’s so quiet, it’s nice to be away from the hustle and bustle at night we had the windows open and barely heard anything.

The staff are lovely,
Polite and helpful and speak English very well. I feel like a few small changes would make such a huge difference. The location and friendly staff were definitely the selling point here!

I don’t think the French star system and the UK star system are the same because it wouldn’t be a 4 Star hotel in the UK but honestly I absolutely would stay again based on the staff and location.

Acceuil exceptionnelle du monsieur du soir (le grand brun de la part des deux jeunes étudiantes à qui vous disiez toujours bonne soirée et amusez vous bien car on découvrait la ville )

Personnel courtois, près de tout.
Pros:

Le personnel est courtois et la proximité de tous les grands attraits touristiques

Cons:

Malgré que le descriptifs indique qu’il y a de la climatisation dans les chambres l’hôtel à un préréglages à 22°C. Donc pendant la canicule pas moyen de descendre la température de la chambre plus bas que 22°C.

We komen hier graag terug
Pros:

Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het was zeer warm weer. Bij binnenkomst van het hotel werden we meteen op het, gratis, koude water gewezen en verteld dat het belangrijk was om veel water te drinken. Tevens is koffie en thee de hele dag door gratis, De kamer was niet groot, maar efficient ingericht met goede bedden. Mooie, ruime badkamer met inloopdouche. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt met o.a. vers fruit en keuze uit gekookt ei en roerei.
Het hotel is goed gelegen met op korte loopafstand 3 metrostations, genoeg restaurants, barretjes, bakkertjes.
