Kolkata - you always amuse me and keep it up.
Pros:

This is my third stay with family too. Staying in a prime area at a heritage building with modern amenities is something very special. Service is good so is the staffs. Room and toilet cleaning spotless. Metro, New Market and other attachtions are within walking distance. Recently a restaurant has been open at lobby area overlooking the bustling road and on to the greenery in front of the hotel, nice menu too, love this place.

Cons:

Elevator and crowded street hawkers at the front. I guess, one has to accept these as expected in 'Good Old Kolkata - the City of Joy'.

The room size is too small. The lock of gate is broken issue of safety. And also the bathroom are not clean

Excellent location , spacious rooms and heritage style building
Pros:

I have stayed at this place many times , the receptionist is very good , the location is perfect near Park St station and the very large markets and large stores are downstairs and it the area, the room is spacious with 24 hot water and clean bed linen

Cons:

I was not impressed with the onsite restaurant and the staff , I ordered fish and chips there and they only served a few dried up chips with the fish , when paying they handled me a dirty , torn up 50 rupees change in the change which would not be accepted by other businesses if I had accepted it , the staff member was very rude and kept throwing the old torn note back at me as I would not accept it
Because of the staff behaviour , I refused to go into the restaurant again during my stay there as they need to treat guests with respect .
