Pros:

This is the heart of the city. Very nice location for shopping

Cons:

As this is a very old, iconic & heritage building, many things are very difficult to repair. The windows needs improvement.

Nice stay at a heritage property in Kolkata
Pros:

The location is superb - even though the entrance js on a busy street, the room was quiet, clean and air conditioned.

Cons:

The shower - even though it was clean, the bathroom would get all wet, including the floor after the shower

Good if you want to experience a vintage feel and cleanliness in the room was good.
Pros:

Location of the hotel is very crowded and it's not even visible due to too many hawkers down the building. However, rooms are good and clean and. have a vintage feel to it.

Cons:

Too many hawkers down the lane, even the building is not visible from outside. The mattress on other single bed in the room was very hard and should be changed.

Pros:

Good care, good people, good rooms, all room amenities work well, lots of food choices in the hotel restaurant and outside, clean linen though towels need replacing or bleaching, dust a problem on room floors but to be expected since its next to a major expressway, noise from in and around manageable...my choice if visiting kolkata again...
