Reception staff was very friendly. Location is perfect, right on the main street and right across from the public pool.

Check in at 4pm is ridiculously late, but later events during our stay provide some insight why check in is this late.

Rooms are not cleaned daily, but you need to request the cleaning via the reception or by scanning qr code provided in the room. We requested the cleaning, left our room around 10am, came back around 2pm, room still hasn't been cleaned. Went to reception to check, they had no idea the room hasn't been cleaned and requested the cleaning again. We left the room in about half an hour, the cleaning staff did not show up while we were there. We came back around 4pm or even a bit later to "cleaned" room. Only one bed was made, the other one was not even touched. Bathroom floor was not wiped, glasses in the bathroom were not cleaned or replaced, and the coasters themself the glasses were left on are so old the paper is crusty. Floors in the room did not look vacuumed let alone mopped, the desk still had some crumbs on it. Went to reception to complain about the cleaning, but as friendly as the reception staff was, their only response was that the cleaning manager already left and that they'll leave the note, without any apology or any small gesture to show appreciation for the customer, as the practice was in some other Scandic properties.

To be fair, the room did look clean when we first arrived (apart from the crusty coaster under the glasses in the bathroom), but the cleaning during the stay was awful.

In general, the hotel could use some freshening up, apart from the bar which was mostly closed during our stay, all other areas of the hotel look a bit tired and outdated, including rooms, at least the one we were staying in.
