Pros:

La ubicación es excelente y el personal siempre muy atento.
El desayuno estaba bien y variado.

Cons:

Las instalaciones en general son bastante viejas. El ascensor no funcionaba bien, en varios ocasiones, tuvimos que irnos por las escaleras. La ducha tenía una presión exagerada y no se podía regular; si se hacía, el agua salía fría (había que escoger entre presión dolorosa o agua fría). Además, uno de los enchufes que estaba a la par de la cama no servía, si se apagaba la luz, dejaba de funcionar, es decir, en la noche no se podía dejar cargando el celular.

Beautiful, classic hotel in the heart of Zona Rosa!
Pros:

The location, the amenities, the expansive buffet breakfast, the friendly staff!

Cons:

We didn't realize that there was brewed coffee for breakfast, because it wasn't offered to us. We saw the coffee machine and figured it was only that option available!

Fabulous
Pros:

I highly recommend this hotel. It had a historical vibe. Very clean. The people were very nice. The food was delicious. The hospitality was amazing. I highly recommend.

Great hotel and staff
Pros:

Barcelo was one of the greatest hotels me and my family has ever stayed in, their service, attention is detailed and everyone is super kind and attentive. I will for sure be staying here again with my family and recommending this hotel to my family and friends.

People were great. Facilities compared to other BARCELO properties was lacking
Pros:

Clean. Nice and friendly staff.

Cons:

Small things that bother you. Elevators are super slow. Safe in room was detached from anchors. Hot water was like warm after 7 am.

Perfect hotel for a San Salvador stay
Pros:

Can’t fault this hotel! Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped (coffee machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board). Breakfast was awesome - good coffee and fruit juices and just about every food you could want. The pool was lovely and nice area around with beds for sunbathing. Decent gym and a jacuzzi too. Good sports bar in the hotel and literally a few minutes walk from several places to eat and shops.

Perfect spot for a couple of nights in San Salvador
Pros:

Large rooms, very quiet even though we were right by the lift. Excellent breakfast. Nice pool. Close to lots of places to eat.
