Very nice hotel but a little out of the way
Pros:

Very nice hotel in a quiet area. Close to train station. Room was clean with 2 good sized beds and nice clean facilities. Did not get chance to try out public baths area.

Cons:

A little of the beaten track. Had to get transport to get to anything really. Train very close so that was good and only 2 stops to main station but quiet a bit to anything if you were to walk

Nice pleasant stay Kyoto
Pros:

The property is nice and modern and clean. It is in a good location, very close to train station and bus stops. The hotel has a nice Onsen, along with drinks and ice cream machine. There are facilities to wash your clothes, which is coin operated, 300 yen from memory, which includes detergent. There are also tumble dryers, 100 ten for half hour, but you will probably need 2 hours to dry clothes. The rooms are nice, but very small. There is a restaurant area off the foyer that offers free coffee during certain hours, and also has a microwave.

Cons:

The only negative was the small rooms, which people travelling around Japan will be accustomed to.

Grumpy Staff.
Cons:

The staff were exceptionally grumpy. No smiles, no effort. Tried to charge me 1000 yen to check in 1hr early. My room was clearly ready, the lady said "go sit down until 2pm..." it was 1.40pm. I was sooo close to asking for the manager.
Super king bed with a total of 2 tiny tiny pillows that felt like cardboard boxes.
Avoid this place.
