The mattresses could be softer but I had an awesome experience

It’s a good capsule hotel. The pod was functional, clean and comfortable. Good shower. Easy journey by taxi from the station. Friendly staff.

Very good

I reserved this hotel for my cousin, it was the first time she did an international solo trip.

The property is near Nijo Castle which is close to the Nishiki Market, the downtown arcades and Heian Shrine.
The capsules are wide, conveniently separate by gender and they are cleaned every three days.

Within the common area you can have snacks, traditional drinks and water. The facilities include hot spring, hair dryer, washing machine and fast Wi-Fi connection.

The staff is friendly, definitely a nice place for solo travelers. Highly recommended for women.

This was my first experience at a capsules hotel. I was so excited to check in. What surprised me is the check-in time at this hotel, at 5 pm, not a 1 min before. It was very frustrating as the check-out from my hotel in Tokyo was at 10 am, so I was homeless for 7 hours with my luggage. I tried to spend some time in Tokyo before going to the train station and I slowly begun my journey to Kyoto in order to arrive at check in-time. I arrived at 4 pm exhausted, wanting a cold shower and a bed, but the hotel staff didn't allow me to check in until its precisely five. I left my luggage there and went for lunch, came back at 5 and checked in. To my very surprise, most rooms were empty. So there was not a reason for refusing to check me in early.

The rooms were tiny but spotless and there's a beautiful common area with a coffee machine and snacks that I really loved. Many people occupied that room and I got to meet wonderful people. The bathrooms were spotless and spacious and I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. There's even a money exchange machine at the reception. Very nice experience and overall stay.

The only issue is the check in time. Hotel management should change it to 3 pm just like any other hotel and be more flexible with clients traveling long distances. I know rules are rules but empathy goes a long way.

Modern, clean, quiet and great amenities

Very clean and the amenities were great! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to use the on site onsen with tattoos even though there’s a sign that says no tattoos, but I asked the staff and they insured me it was fine! Had a great stay!

Very convenient near public transportation. Service was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately rooms are hot at night with poor ventilation.

You need to bear in mind that this is a capsule hotel designed for people who normally only stay a night or two. There’s a transient clientele who have their own needs such as late arrivals and very early starts which can be disruptive for your sleeping. The hotel is well placed for sightseeing and access to transport.

It was nice

This hotel was very clean. It was conveniently located for shopping and walking. The only negative that I had was that some of the residents were quite loud and disruptive at quiet time hours.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping.

個人スペースは広くはないものの綺麗で静かでした。
一階に食事や歓談出来る共有スペースと大浴場もありました。トイレも非常に綺麗でした。
