Loverly clean property the onsen was fantastic the only problem was the breakfast and evening meal was Japan food fresh fish veggies not for the English pallet small cafes near by but no Where to go for breakfast so unfortunately stuck with the hotel breakfast lunch and evening meal easily obtainable from near by cafes hotel with in easy reach of attractions by train
Loverly traditional hotel very clean onsen experience fantastic but not worth the money too expensive for what it is breakfast a big let down

The dinner and breakfast were very filling. We only stayed one night and was hoping to have the beef sukiyaki but it was not on the menu that day. The midnight snack was excellent as well. The staff were very friendly and switched to English once they knew we did not speak Japanese. The wait staff were very attentive, patient, and efficient as they explained the food items and how to eat them. We thoroughly enjoyed this short stay. The private onsen was awesome. We enjoyed the snack and drinks as well. Unfortunately the tub in the room was outside and it was small and happened to be very cool when I stayed so we did not use it - if it was inside - that would be perfect. I would recommend this place for a nice romantic stay.
Wish there was a choice for dinner and the tub in the room was not on an exterior patio but enclosed within the room. Everything else was excellent.
