The hotel room was very roomy and very clean, the private open air bath was the highlight, the hotel offered free hot/cold drinks and ice cream which was a nice touch , we loved our stay here, the staff eere very approachable and friendly

The dinner was exceptional, highly recommend the multiple course traditional meal. The onsen in the room was relaxing after a long day of exploring. We also tried the private onsen which was nice as well.

Great place to stay, view of Hakone from inside my hotel room was amazing. The amenities were amazing, public bath, private bath (two types, no reservation), free endless drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and free ice cream bars just outside the hot spring baths. They also gave you your own loungewear to use within the hotel, which you can use to walk around and can take to dinner/breakfast in the hotel. That leads me to my dinner and breakfast experience here, beyond amazing!!! Dinner was absolutely delicious, and breakfast was also pretty good.

On the last night we had a terrible sewage smell in our room all night , The Manager however was very good about it and agreed to refund us $200

The bathroom is too small and quite smelly.
It was our first ryokan experience and it exceeded our expectation. We stayed for 3 days 2 nights, and the meals were all different! Drinks (beer and hard liquor too) were free flow. It was simply a 10 out of 10 experience for us. Highly recommend.

Everything. The property is closed to train station and city center. The room is huge and clean. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The meals are so delicious and the portions are so generous. Best of all, the hotel provides drinks and ice cream all day long. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely will come back again.
