Excellent Stay at Hampton Inn, Independence OH
Pros:

Had an excellent stay at this Hampton Inn. While it's easy off/easy on the highway, it is down a road and set back far enough that you don't see or hear the highway at all. Very comfortable bed and sofa in the King Room with Shower. Erica was exceptionally helpful Friday when we were arriving and had some requests. Very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff members throughout. Better breakfast than some Hampton Inns with upgraded hot food. If you are in the area, highly recommend you chose this hotel.

Good hotel in a good location
Pros:

4.5 stars. The hotel appears to be a bit worn, but our room was nice and clean, but had a slight musty smell. There were plenty of fresh, clean towels and adequate bathroom amenities. There was a fridge and options for coffee. The beds and pillows were fine. The elevator was a bit dark. The hallways were clean, but quite worn in some areas. We didn't hear anyone in the hall even though we were near the elevator. We did hear our upstairs neighbors. We didn't hear our next door neighbors except while in the bathroom. The A/C was adequate and kept the room at the right temp.

The eating area was a bit small, but fortunately didn't get over crowded while we were there. There was a variety of different types of seating to accomodate various size groups. There was some fresh fruit, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, mini cheese omlets, turkey sausage, potatoes, mini scones, muffins, breads, and a bagel. Additionally, there was a waffle bar, juices, cereal, and a fridge with milk, cream cheese, and yogurt. Coffee and hot water (for tea and chocolate) are always available in the lobby

Staff members were wonderful! Everyone we encountered from breakfast to housekeeping, and front desk were friendly and helpful.

The Location is near major highways, but far enough away that we didn't hear the traffic. I would stay here again.
